Woonboot verhuur Amsterdam House-Boat Hotel Amsterdam

Room with Patio AK88 ****

B&B nearby the RAI and close to the centre! This sunny bedroom is with kitchenette, study and patio on the ground floor of a totally renovated house, built in 1895. A heavenly tranquillity in the middle of one of the most vibrant areas in the city.

Without hesitation we dare to call this the nicest room in town, with complete privacy and everything you need for a short break! The Dam is only a 15 minute walk away and around the corner you find the longest market in Amsterdam. The Heineken Brewery is within easy reach too, as are the Vondelpark and the Rijksmuseum.

The house is decorated in bright colours and is a perfect mix of antiques and modern comfort.  The large palm tree in the middle of the patio is beautiful. The room is fairly exclusive and very relaxing with a private sauna and kingsize boxspring. The use of the sauna is at an additonal cost of 12,50 euro, but the first time is free of charge! From the bed you can watch television. The room has a large skylight with an electrical operated curtain.

The room includes a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The patio offers plenty of privacy to cool off after the sauna, or to take a sun bath. The study/office is shared, but is daily available and the place to receive eventual visitors. In the study is a second toilet. In the garage you find a washer and dryer, iron and ironing board. There are kitchen utilities to prepare breakfast or lunch and a microwave. Two supermarkets and a bakery are only a few steps away.

The house is located in the middle of the district named De Pijp. The neighbourhood is lively and quite busy and there are many small businesses, shops and art galleries established. Not to forget, the Albert Cuyp market behind the house, the longest market in the Netherlands. Around the corner are at least 8 restaurants and even more café's, because this is the place to be for locals. You can rent bikes in the street but also walk to nearly all interesting places, the Rijksmuseum, the Leidsesquare, Casino, the Utrechtsestaat (exclusive clothes), Rembrandtsquare and Concertbuilding are all a 10 to 15 minute walk away.

Danke Marcel - alles Gute weiterhin !

Room in the Pijp!
by Eamonn Hynes

I found this ground floor accommodation very convenient for my trip to Amsterdam. I was attending a conference at the RAI and it was a short bike trip from here. And i could store my bike inside! The area is interesting as well.
The room was small but there was an en-suite and even a sauna. All very clean and well organized.
Thanks, EFH.

Apatment in Oud-Zuid
by David Gillett

This apartment was an oasis of calm in the middle of a very busy , vibrant, and noisy city.
The area,Oud-Zuid, is a little further down from Station Central, but it was very close to Rijksmuseum, Heineken Experience, and Van Gogh Museum.Next door was the famous Albert Cuypt Market. Do go!
My hosts were so kind and helpful, they gave me directions, bought me beer, did my laundry and talked to me when I was lonely. I had my own garden with a palm tree! I just wish I had had a stove, so I could have taken advantage of all the fresh fish that Amsterdam has to offer. All in all it was a great place to stay. David G.
