Houseboat Amsterdam

Superb option – this was our second stay, and having stayed in other houseboats in Amsterdam, this is our very favourite. The location is perfect, walking distance from all main attractions and historic centre, plus a supermarket, bakery, wine merchants and many other conveniences 100m to 200m away. Accommodation inside is comfortable, with a well equipped galley (kitchen) and spacious bathroom. The interior is nicely decorated and well maintained, and with efficient central heating, wifi, and plenty of power connections. Best feature is the wheelhouse, with seating space and a commanding view of the Amstel and the Magere brug, one of the most panoramic, wide views of Amsterdam. Just sitting there with a bottle of wine is bliss, watching the lights change in the city and the reflection of the sky in the water, and the world passing by. It also has a deck terrace, with a table and chairs, with great views across the Amstel and the city.
Attention from boat owners on reception and dealing with enquiries before arrival was absolutely brilliant, and our warm welcome on board. Fully recommended.

We liked it very much. Simpel but very nice and clean place to stay in the center of Amsterdam.
