House-Boat B044 ***

This cosy and romantic houseboat (2-3 persons) is moored in the middle of the "Jordaan", the most pitoresque neighbourhood in Amsterdam. In the surroundings of the boat are numerous little shops, secondhand clothesshops and markets. From here it's less then a 10 minute walk to the Damsquare.

The boat lies on the Prinsengracht just a few steps away from the Anna Frank House and is nearby
Houseboat BK18, also suitable for two to three persons. The basic colours of the boat are white and the owners used a lot of wood. The shower and toilet are large and modern. There is one bedroom with a comfortable queensized bed and in the living room is a couch which can be turned into a single bed. The kitchen is fully equipped and you find here a fridge and a microwave. The living room has french doors to the balcony from where you have a great view over the canal. Internet connection, televsion, dvd and radio are at your disposal. Smoking is allowed. Click here for reviews.

Fabulous houseboat
by Jayne Jolly

Our first experience on a houseboat and what a wonderful time we had.Friendly, helpful owner, centrally situated with lots of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the patio watching the world go by, feeding the visiting ducks and having more space than the average hotel room. Thanks Irene.

Great accomodation in a lovely location
by Chris Humphreys

W had never rented a houseboat before, so had no idea what to expect.
We were very pleased with what we found - cosy, comfortable accommodation in a lovely area with bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.
The bed was very comfortable with nice quality bedding, the kitchen area more than adequate, a good lounge and a super small deck outside at the back where we could sit with a glass of wine and watch all the canal boat traffic passing by.
The shower and toilet are good and modern.
The boat is well placed for easy walking to many of the main sights and the centre of the city (about 15 minutes away at a slow pace).

I've stayed in a few houseboats over the years, so am well placed to say, this is one of the nicest, cleanest and most comfortable in Amsterdam. Thank you Irene for a great holiday. X
