BOAT HOTEL B070 ***
Amsterdam is famous for it's extensive canal system & waterway network and the best way for visitors to experience this unique lifestyle is to stay in a spacious boat accomodation. The hotelboat has 5 bedrooms and is suitable for an extended family of 6 - 10 persons. Please send us an email first to let us know what your wishes are!
The boat is indeed distinctive in its own status. Originally, it was built in 1931 as a freighter. Since 2010, the owner had transformed the freighter boat with all of his passion into a floating house with contemporary & modern facilities. Many of the unique & original details were preserved though.
With its vast mid hull that serves as the social & living quarter, Boat B070 is not just a unique but also ideal to accommodate a large group or an extended family, where everyone can be together and sleep under the same roof. It offers a great combination of an airy & bright dining hall with an extended table and a bar featuring a wine cooler, a cozy lounge and a professional stainless steel kitchen. The hall is also equipped with a large flat screen LCD-TV set with cable TV offering an ample collection of channels from Dutch to multi European & international programs. You find a second tv in the Captain's lounge.
This boat will make your stay pleasant and relaxing wiht its 5 comfortable and unique bedrooms (in the living room is also a couch wich can be turned into an extra double bed). There are 2 spacious and design showers with natural skylight. Not to mention, there’s a small sauna to pamper you after an exhausting day exploring the city of Amsterdam. The boat is moored at Amsterdam’s old dockland that has now become the newest, modern & most trendy part of Amsterdam. Besides marveling the refreshing, contemporary & funky architectures, guests can find a vast range of facilities & services such as hip cafes, charming restaurants, boutique shops, ATM machines, supermarket, bike rental, fitness center & etc. Amsterdam’s cultural institutions & attractions such as the National Maritime Museum Amsterdam, Science Centre NEMO, Amsterdam Conservatorium, Music Hall–Bimhuis Jazz, Amsterdam Architecture Centre, Amsterdam Zoo Artis, Amsterdam Music Theater & Opera House, the open-air Waterloo market & etc are all within easy reach. If you prefer to walk instead of taking the tram to Central station and the city center, we recommend a short & pleasant walk along the waterfront. But there is more: you can make a tour through Holland on request. The rates depends on the oil price, you can discuss this with the Captain after you make the booking. Warmly welcome on board!.
