Amsterdam Houseboat House-Boat Hotel Amsterdam

HOUSEBOAT B165 *****

New arrival, 'The Emperor', breathtaking houseboat!

A large totally renewed houseboat......moored on a top location on the Keizersgracht. The boat has a great design and is made from the best materials. It is moored in the World Heritage area, on a prestigious canal, near to exclusive shopping streets, the Jordaan, the Anna Frank House and in walking distance from Central Station. In the middle of the city centre, and yet, in a quiet and safe spot. There is a minimum stay of 3 nights required.

The boat was totally stripped and rebuilt in the last 2 years. It has a huge lounge with a dining table and a open plan kitchen, made from steel. The ceiling is high which also makes this boat suitable for very tall people. There are 2 bedrooms, one with 2 single beds and one with a Queen-sized bed. The bathroom has a tub, a separate shower and a toilet. You can sit on the deck with a wonderful view over the canal. Feel free to book this boat. We guarantee an experience you will never forget!

Top spec house boat in perfect location
by Mark Zeedzen

This house boat is very luxurious. The interior design is great, and it has all the amenities you need for a short or even a longer stay. The location is perfect. It is on one of the most beautiful canals (the Keizersgracht), just far enough from the main tourist spots such as the Anne Frank house to be quiet and peaceful, but near enough to walk there within minutes. The check in was very good as always with Carolien and we have already started to plan our next stay, it was simply perfect. The only point that can be improved it the door lock, which doesn't always work as it should.

Great fun in Amsterdam!
by Jill Bush

We rented Houseboat 165 in September, 2019. It was my husband and I, and a friend so we needed two bedrooms. Houseboat 165 (I wish she had a name so I could affectionately refer to her!) had two bedrooms and enough room to comfortably suit our needs over four days, Tinneke (sp?) greeted us on behalf of the usual site manager who also checked in with us. Tinneke provided some local insight into nearby farmers markets, art fairs and hidden secrets of Amsterdam. This allowed us to feel like locals ourselves and enjoy the boat as residents. The boat itself had every amenity one could wish for. We enjoyed the rooftop gathering area. We had breakfast in the lovely dining area. We sat and talked til late at night in the seating area. The boat was easily accessible and locked securely. The canal where she is moored is in one of the old residential areas, away from the wild Amsterdam scène and touristy areas, although within walking distance of those, It is five minutes to a wonderful pancake place, ten minutes to cool outdoor markets, ten minutes to the Anne Frank House, which is a must-see (make reservations online). This was the first time we used this type of process for an overseas trip and it could. not. have. been. easier. Or more pleasant!! We recommend this site and our lovely 165 to everyone!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Wonderful Stay on Houseboat B165
by Amber Langley

This houseboat was simply a delight to stay in while we were visiting Amsterdam. As a party of four, there was more than enough room for all of us to spread out. The furnishings are beautiful and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to make meals. We were able to enjoy breakfasts on the top of the boat and enjoyed watching the activities of the canal. We loved our visit and would love to stay on this houseboat again when we return to Amsterdam.
