Perfect space and location
by Margaretha De Clercq

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on House Boat 143, we even invited friends for drinks on the little deck, and cooked for them (kitchen is superb), and watched the other boats go by. Supermarket and bicycle hire across the road was very convenient. We strolled into Pijp district for night vibes, visited the Saturday market, hired a Mokum boat and sailed the canals, and cycled to all the major attractions right from our door. It's only 50meters to the (no4) trams to and from the station and all areas of the city. The house is clean, tidy, and very well equipped - good coffeee, quick wifi, comfy beds and modern bathroom. Although the bedrooms are small, it's all we needed and we slept well on the water. The very spacious living area was well used and from the outside deck, we watched the tourists in their boats, ducks and swans stopping and swimmers off another house-boat!! Keys, booking and checking in and out was super easy, thanks Joop. I can really recommend staying in a house boat for a true Amsterdam experience, and this one was perfect for us.

Enjoyed our vacation
by Linda Newell

I would stay here again. The boat was decorated nicely with a kitchen that was loaded with everything from pots and pans to mixing bowls and vegetable peeler. It was very easy to cook a meal in the kitchen. And there is a grocery store across the street. I enjoyed sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee and wave to the canal boats that past by. Also the master king size bed was very comfortable. The bathroom door handle fell off when we were being shown around the boat. The manager Marije was extremely nice. We stayed for 9 nights and I would stay here again.
