We stayed 5 nights... what a cool experience.
This canal area is very, very quiet and a very safe neighborhood. It is all there, including a very good WiFi, kitchen, spacious living room, etc. The basic cooking ingredients are also there in case you want to cook, however, Amsterdam offer an endless choice of very cute and good restaurant.
Try it out instead of a hotel.
