amsterdam houseboats rentals House-Boat Hotel Amsterdam

House-Boat B032 **

This loungeboat  (1903) has 200 square metres/ yards of living comfort and is suitable for 4 - 5 adults. You’ll feel like reborn after a holiday on this wonderful ship. This boat once was the home of Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh. From the authentic 18th century "woodharbour" where the boat is moored it is a ten minute walk to the “the Jordaan”, one of the oldest neibourghoods of Amsterdam, where you will find the Anne Frank huis and lots of shops and restaurants. Proberly It's a bit strange environment for foreigners, at the opposit of this boat is a houseboat moored that cost over a one and a half million euro, while on the same pier you find a boat total neglect of a wanderer.  At the beginning of the pier is a beautifully restored warehouse from the 17th century (now with apartments and a very popular and trendy restaurant on the entire top floor), while you see a 100 meters away a very modern building with almost industrialized contours, that stretched out into the water.

The interiour of this House-Boat is basic with a lot of wood. The boat has two bedrooms ( a master bedroom and the authentic captain’s hut) both with double bed’s and a walk-in-closet in the master bedroom. Further there is an extra bed for a child and it's also possible to sleep on the couch In the living room. In the kitchen you will find a bar, a diner table, a dish washer and all the other modern luxury you need. The bathroom has a separate shower, toilet and a huge bathtub and in the atmospheric lounge/living room with  digital home cinema/dvd and cd you can relax after a long day shopping. There is a nice sunny deck and a very popular trendy restaurant at the end of the pier on top of an historical monument with a wonderful view over the water. At the opposit of the pier you find an old skipper's café/restaurant with good traditional food and drinks and a supermarket. The harbour is not far from Central Station. Reviews.
