amsterdam houseboats rentals House-Boat Hotel Amsterdam

Boat BK87, guestroom ***

This 98 year's old houseboat is simply gorgious! She is permently moored in the Prinsengracht on one of the most attractive area's in the centre, the Jordaan. The location is in between the Anna Frank House and the nine little streets.

Your hostess (who lives in the middle part of the boat) offers you a bedroom with private toilet and balcony.
The bedroom is cosy and you will feel safe and comfortable while you are surrounded by beautiful colours, cushions and the sound of gently flowing water. The use of the kitchen and bathroom is at fixed times (there is only one boiler on the boat). The bathroom is new and beautiful designed: it has a luxury 2-persons shower with two shower heads. The mirror is made from an old oil tank and the sink is carved out of stone on a oak table top.

On the opposite of the boat is a trendy restaurant, where you can order a dinner for two. They serve you on the boat! After dinner you can take place on the balcony to enjoy the nightlife on the water for a super romantic evening!

The houseboat is moored in the "Jordaan", the most pitoresque neighbour-
hood in our city. She lies in the middle of the famous 'nine little streets'. In the surroundings of the boat are numerous little shops, luxury clothing and shoe stores, café's, galleries, restaurants and markets. From here it's less then a 10 minute walk to the Damsquare, Madame Tussaud or the Anna Frank House.
On monday morning it's worth it to visit the Noordermarket with local biological food and in a part of the market you find secondhand vintage stuff.

This is where to stay! :)
by Nisha Broodie

Best stay in Amsterdam on this beautiful houseboat. Nothing like enjoying wine, coffee and breakfast in the comfort of your own rental, sitting on the deck, watching the canal, and swan swim by. I loved all the sunlight that floods the living area. Bedroom with very comfortable bed and toilet. Beautiful bathroom. This is such a great stay.
I admit I was worried about a houseboat rental because I didn't know what to expect or how secure it would be. This is a very secure place to stay. Very central location. I travelled by myself as a female and felt 100% safe 100% of the time.
Look no further.
2 things to note: There is remnants of cigarette smoke. I have asthma and it wasn't a problem. Internet is slow! It was hard for me to research restaurants and museums with the internet.
Nonetheless if I'm ever in Amsterdam again, I would stay here!

Dream come true
by Ray Mooers

I have long wondered what it would be like to stay on a house boat in Amsterdam and finally made it happen. BK 87 filled my needs and desires well. It is located in a great part of town with lots of restaurants and shops close by. The boat was recently remodeled and was clean and well taken care of. The tobacco smoke smell was a bit off putting but not a big deal. Loved the deck on the side of the boat which provided a great way to view and interact with the parade of boats that streamed by on the first sunny Saturday in April. Window coverings on the portholes in the bedroom would be a nice addition for better privacy and may be in the plan for finishing the remodel work. The double bed was very comfortable and hard to get out of one morning when it was raining hard outside! All in all, it was a lovely stay and I would return again when the time comes. Beats the heck out of a hotel stay!

Lovely houseboat
by Denis Dilla

We enjoyed it very much too stay at such a wonderfull and lovely houseboat. We had more then enough space. The bedroom was so nice decorated and the room just had a special atmossphere. The bathroom was also very beautiful and big. The location of the houseboat is very close to central and we coud go everywhere in about 10-20min by walking.
And last but not least the houseboat Holder is also such a nice person. We had such a great time and we love to come back to this houseboat :-)
