Boat BK09, Guestroom **

The owner of this boat showed a lot of creativeness by making a washstand from a copper boiler, a shower ánd a private toilet in this small, but romantic bedroom with a cove. Really amazing! You will also have the cabin of the boat for yourself with a cosy nook and there is a nice terrace. The bedroom and cabin are separated from the rest of the boat which guarantee your privacy and you have your own entrance.

From the cabin you have a wonderful view over the Amstel River. The whole atmosphere is pretty luxurious, the materials are beautiful: glossy wood, marble and copper. There are facilities to make coffee and tea. At the opposite of the boat is "de IJsbreker", a very popular restaurant/ theatre and café combination where they serve breakfast from 9 a.m..There is a wifi internet connection free of charge.

wonderful !!! péniche vraiment magnifique !
by Aubry CHAPEL

Merci encore

Our stay on Tempgina/BK09
by Martin

My girlfriend and I spent 5 days on the Tempgina and found the place to be very welcoming and in a great location to explore Amsterdam. Peter, who lives on the boat, gave us a very warm welcome and throughout our stay made sure that we felt at home.
The boat is in close proximity to metro and tram stations, and lies actually in such a central spot that we could reach many destinations by foot. Even though outside it was rather windy and cold, it was very comfortable and warm on the boat. It might be even nicer in summer, so we would definitely come back to stay on Peter's boat :-)

Tempgina
by Jon Madley

I would like to thank Peter, the owner of this beautifully crafted Dutch Barge, which we had the privilege of staying on for 2 nights in November this year. The weather was not so good & we found the boat warm comfortable & had all the facilities we needed to take a relaxing break on the river. I would highly recommend this accommodation to anyone as long as they are aware that the access to the cabin has steep stairs so not suitable for the disabled or persons with mobility issues.
We will visit again & for the price it has much more of a unique experience to offer for the same cost as a standard hotel. There is a cafe & a few restaurants near by & a supermarket which stocks everything you need for a cosy retreat,) also the metro is round the corner so 15 mins from all that central Amsterdam has to offer.
