House-Boat Rent B026 ***

Deze woonboot ligt op een perfecte lokatie: middenin het historische centrum maar toch op een wonderbaarlijk rustig stukje. Vanaf de Hendrick (zo heet deze woonboot) heeft u een prachtig uitzicht over één van de mooiste grachten van Amsterdam. Binnen enkele minuten bent u bij de Nieuwmarkt, het Scheepvaartmuseum en vele winkels, cafés en restaurantjes. Binnen ongeveer 5 minuten lopen bent u op het Centraal Station.

Door middel van een trappetje bereikt u vanaf de straat de entree. Aan boord is er een keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien en een badkamer met een bad. In de badkamer is er een wasmachine en een droger aanwezig. In het hoofdgedeelte van de boot is het leefgedeelte en er staat een groot tweepersoonsbed. Ook is er een aparte kamer met een tweepersoonsbed. Op het dak van de boot is er een heel fijn terras. U kunt gratis gebruik maken van het draadloze internet.

Houseboat Hendrick was the perfect start to our Amsterdam trip. Jochem was the perfect host. The houseboat is comfortable, well appointed, and incredibly convenient to everything. We loved Floriade, and our excursion to Venlo. We feel lucky to have the opportunity to stay with you. Many thanks!

Stayed on the B026 Hendrick for 4 nights March 2012 (4 adults)
Very easy to find the boat from Central Station, easy directions given from the owner. Arrived at the boat after a 5 minute walk and all I can say is "Wow!"
The boat is moored on a very peaceful and beautiful location
There is a fully fitted kitchen with every accessory you could think of, microwave, kettle, oven, every utensil we needed we found.
Bathroom has a bath with shower fitted over the bath, toilet and sink. Also in the bathroom are the washing machine and tumble drier, both which we used, also the owner provides washing powder and all your towels. There is an iron and ironing board but no hairdrier so bring your own.
Bedroom was small, basically a double high rise bed, very comfortable though.
The lounge/2nd bedroom is fantastic. Queen sized bed, one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept in, is at one end of the area and other end has your lounge. Sofa plus 2 easy chairs, desk etc
The houseboat has Freeview TV with plenty English Channels, there is a DVD player built into TV, there are numerous books there from novels to travel guides, boardgames, lots to keep you busy if weather poor. Immaculate Condition inside and out.
Dam Square is a 10 minute walk, 5 minute walk the the numerous bars/restaurants and the "Red Light District"
Could not fault this boat, or the very friendly owner and neighbours, will definatlely be returning! We didn't want to leave!
