 Deze accommodatie is geschikt voor 9 - 14 personen! Deze boot kan je eigenlijk geen woonboot meer noemen. Het is een groot zeilschip die al ruim 100 jaar oud is die in 2002 gerestaureerd is. In de winter ligt zij tegenover de Jordaan (vlakbij de Bungy Jump) in Amsterdam. Binnen 15 minuten lopen bent u op het Centraal Station. Het schip heeft 7 cabines en elke cabine heeft 2 eenpersoonsbedden. Ideaal voor een grote groep! Aan boord zijn er 2 douches, 2 toiletten, een keuken, een prachtige lounge en een dek met stoelen en een bank. Na een lange wandeling in Amsterdam kunt u heerlijk genieten en samen eten in de gezellige en warme lounge. U kunt deze accommodatie vanaf 15 november tot 20 april boeken.

In het zeilseizoen kunt u dit schip inclusief een kapitein huren en over het IJsselmeer zeilen. Deze boot is met 3 sterren gekwalificeerd en het is één van de snelste zeilboten van Nederland, maar natuurlijk is het ook een veilig en comfortabel schip. Als u dit schip in de zomer wilt boeken (01-05 tot 15-11) kunt u ons een mail sturen en dan informeren wij u graag over de beschikbaarheid, de mogelijkheden en de prijzen.

You couldn't wish for better

What a perfect place to stay. At walking distance from Centraal station, ten minutes to town, three to the supermarket (Albert Heyn, nice) and in a wonderful, quiet, very A'dam area. Bus stop is in the street behind the boat (Westerdok line 48, not Barentszplain as indicated) but once we figures out the route, we never needed it again. So close to it all!
We were welcomed by the utterly friendly and kind Margo, who couldn't have done more to make us all feel welcome and comfortable. The ten of us stayed for a good four days, on a break from work, families and whatnot. We had a glorious time, and thoroughly enjoyed this unusual and very pleasant accomodation. Had some lovely chats with friendly people around and seriously enjoyed basking in the sun after a lazy Sunday picnic on deck. Heaven!
The boat is well equipped with a lovely seating area and well equipped kitchen. Everything is in fine working order, very clean and cleverly designed. The cabins are small and the beds are bunks, but funnily enough, you won't mind, as it is all part of the 'themed' experience. We all slept wonderfully well and the whole 'crew' would love to come back again. As in... come back tomorrow if we could!

new years eve ...

we spend 6 days in amsterdam at the end of december.
we stayed in the Maxima, this wonderful houseboat of Olav and Margaretha
(very special persons)
we stayed as Kings & Queens ...everything was perfect.
the houseboat was clean, confortable and very hot ...
we used to cook the supper on board and then relaxing all togheter.
we went with 5 children and they had so much fun.
I can absolutely raccomand it.
it' really a particular experience.
we will surely be back to sail with Olav in summer time ... soon or later.

The owner is very friendly and helpful , the boat is in a fantastic situation (10 min walk from Amsterdam Central) . We were a group of 8 lads on a stag do and it was perfect.. Highly reccommend it.
