Apartment A028 ****

Dit mooie, grote en lichte appartement bestaat uit 2 appartementen waardoor het geschikt is voor 2 stellen of voor een familie. Het meubilair is modern, stijlvol en artistiek (de eigenaar is een kunstenaar). Het appartement op de begane grond en op de eerste verdieping en hebben beiden een woonkamer, een comfortabele slaapkamer, een badkamer, een toilet en een keuken die van alle gemakken is voorzien. 1 badkamer heeft een douche en de andere badkamer heeft een bad en een aparte douche. In één van de woonkamers staat een bank die omgetoverd kan worden in een bed en er is een babybedje aanwezig. Er is een kleine tuin en er zijn 2 balkons. 1 balkon heeft uitzicht over de tuinen en heeft de hele dag zon! U kunt gratis gebruik maken van het draadloze internet, de radio, 3 televisies en een föhn. Roken is toegestaan.

Binnen 5 minuten lopen bent u op het Vondelpark en het Leidseplein waar vele restaurantjes, cafés en discotheken te vinden zijn. Ook zijn er verschillende winkelstraten (ook luxe, zoals de PC Hooftstraat) en verschillende musea binnen loopafstand te bereiken. Op de hoek van de straat is er een speciale biologische winkel.

Nice apartment in a very convenient area of town. It is easily accessible to all modes of transportation.
The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchens (up and down) are good size with all amenities. The bathrooms are also fine and clean.
BUT, the toilets are extremely tight and very tough to use!! And I am not big or chunky- pretty slim.
AND it would have been nice to have had a second set of towels for our 8-day stay.
The noise level is very mild and non-existent. Although a couple of nights the neighbors were a little noisy after 11:00 PM.
The hosts are very nice and they just leave you alone.
Overall, a very good experience.

The apartment is convinient placed just outside the very center of Amsterdam, approx. 5 min walk from Leidseplein.
Walking to many of the interesting sites in the city can be done in less than half an hour from this place, and several tramlines are within 2 min. of walking distance (line no.: 1-3-12).
The apartment is clean and, I think, very nice (!), though not "modern" it has all you need, and is actually two full apartments except for only one shower/bath room. It has a first and second floor, both with full equipped kitchen, livingroom, toilet and bedrom, with a combined main entrance to a quiete neighbourhood.. The staircase to second floor is narrow and steep.
We were 3 persons there for almost 5 days, and had plenty of space, and had a great time, far better than any hotel.
The landlord is a nice guy, and helpful if you want him to be. He is an artist, and displayes some of his work on the walls of the apartment, - which undoubtly will give something fun to discuss...-should you visit this great place.
