We stayed two families in -5/2012. We enjoyed the apartment very much. good Location . good Service

I found the place to be alot bigger than i had anticipated. It was well kitted out for all your needs including coffee witch was essential.
My only gripe is that the furniture could have been more comfortable, and the noise coming from the street due to the road works was a bit annoying, but will be temperary i know. I found the flat in a good location to shops and trams, very good organic shop 5min away.
overall my time in the flat was very pleasant, the hot and cold water in the shower kept going hot then cold when in the shower, hope the owner will fix this, big let down, but then you could just have a magnificent bath witch was fantastic(easy fits two peaple).
I would give the place a 6.5/10

The flat rented in Amsterdam was nice, quiet and well-placed in the town, at 5 minutes from Leidseplein.
We specially appreciated the decoration, fun and original, and the nice and comfortable beds.
Although the small terrasse is a "plus".
A really good adress.

5 of us stayed for Orange / Queen's Day weekend and the apartments were super. They are very spacious and it was nice to have the balconies and garden. The toilets on both floors are very small, but that is the only minor criticism. The location is very handy for major tourist areas like Leidseplain and Vondellpark just around the corner. There are a couple of really nice bars / restaurants just down one of the side streets, a great boulangerie nearby at the end of the main road, recommend the Parisian breakfast. Lidle is 1 min walk away for provisions or other supermarkets are also nearby. The landlord Mori Bund was helpfuland every thing went splendidly. It is a quiet residential area, so if you want party-town, book elsewhere, but if you like a quiet base from which to explore Amsterdam, then the apartment is highly recommended. There is some very 'original / unusual' art on the walls by the owner, but this adds to the character of the apartment. We had a lovely stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato nell'appartamento 28 in due coppie per 4 giorni. Ci siamo trovati molto bene sia per la posizione comoda a servizi e negozi che per le caratteristiche dell'alloggio stesso. La nostra vacanza ha trovato temperature piuttosto basse,almeno per noi che veniamo dalla riviera,ma il riscaldamento funzionava egregiamente.
Anche la dotazione di biancheria e detersivi è stata più che soddisfacente. Per noi che amiamo cucinare l'unica difficoltà è stata quella di reperire tegami adatti.Suggerirei perciò di incrementare la batteria di pentole che è comunque esigua.
A parte questo consiglio vivamente il soggiorno nell'appartamento ,che secondo noi vale il prezzo richies

VERY NICE APPARTEMENT, ORIGINAL DECORATION AND GOOD PLACE FOR A VISITOR, OUT OF THE NOISE OF THE CITY, BUT NEAR OF THE CENTER AND EASY TO GO BY WALK IN AMSTERDAM CENTER.

The apt. was nice. I was with a friend who kept different hrs. so it was good we each had our own floor. The quality of the artwork is seriously questionable and might offend any conservative types. Other than that everything was great. Location perfect if you are interested in lively Leidseplein and museums - very close. Also great for runners etc. as you are right next to beautiful Vondelpark.

This was a wonderful apartment. I loved everything about it, the location, the art, the furniture, the bed was even superbly comfortable.
I would love to stay here again and highly recommend it to others looking for a great place to stay.

Nous avons passé quelques jours d'exception à Amsterdam. Mori nous a accueilli avec beaucoup de gentillesse dans sa maison qui est aussi une galerie d'exposition pour ses oeuvres. Une maison lumineuse, spacieuse et très confortable, un port d'attache inoubliable où l'on a eu l'impression d'habiter la ville depuis des années !

We had a lovely stay in Amsterdam. The apartment is big and well equipped. It is close to the centre of town. We loved to get a bit of the flair of how people live in Amsterdam with the apartment, its location, the cafes and shops nearby. Everything was fine except the internet connection did not work as expected, but we managed with an ethernet cable. We would definitely book the accommodation again.
The service altogether was very good, questions beforehand were answered promptly and satisfying. Thank you.

Beautiful apartment- very light, and spacious with huge windows and nice outdoor space. Interesting art and stylishly decorated and presented. The local community around the apartment has a great warm vibe, offers plenty of choice in the way of restaurants and bars and it's easily walkable into the centre of town - approx 15 mins! I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it represents great value in terms of space, comfort and costs and by far exceeds the value of staying at most hotels - I will definitely stay here again and will wholeheartedly recommend it to friends, family and colleagues.

The apartment is very beautiful and well equipped. Enough space for five people, a bathroom with a big tub and very nice artwork in every room. The oven in the livingroom makes a cozy atmosphere on rainy afternoons.
We really enjoyed our stay and think about coming back next year.

Wow!!! There were 5 friends who stayed in this marvelous apartment. The price was great. The location was great and the owner Mori Bunt was great. The apartment is large by typical European standards and was very clean. The area is a great area very close to tram and bus service and you can walk to the Leidesplein and the Van Gogh Museum and Rijksmusuem. It is so nice to live amongst the local people and talk with them and learn from them. There is a great Italian Restaurant (family owned) right down the street and numerous other good restaurants and bars within walking distance. There are grocery stores close by as well. The apartment has large bedrooms and nice bathrooms and we never felt closed in. There is a nice back terrace with a small backyard. The neigbors were wonderful and the area is quiet. The only drawback is that the stairs to the second floor are extremely steep, so small children are not a good idea or elderly. They can stay on the first floor. Great Place and all of us highly recommend it.

I believe this apartment is undersold on the website – it is very spacious.
To be absolutely clear, you enter by the front door at street level and on that level is a large double bedroom, an open plan kitchen/diner/lounge, a separate toilet and a separate walk-in shower. Through the French doors there is a small patio area and garden.
You go upstairs (steep!) to a similar set up on the first floor – bedroom, kitchen, diner/lounge, toilet, but in this case a bathroom (with a bath). There is a balcony.
You can ‘lock-off’ the downstairs rooms if you want to keep the in-laws out!
All-in-all very spacious!
Mori, the owner, lives above you.
The area is a quiet suburban street; within five minute’s walk is a Lidl, restaurants, cafes, shops, a late-night shop (open ‘til 2am).
The main tourist centre of Amsterdam is no more than ten minute’s walk
We paid 40 euros, including tip, for a taxi from the airport – a journey of about 25 minutes…well worth it for 4 of us. I understand you would pay about 4 euros per person for a train from the airport to the station, and then 20 euros cab ride from the station to the apartment.
One final thing, Mori is an artist, and some of his wares are on display around the apartment….they are modern and thought-provoking! One thing’s for sure, whatever your opinion you can’t help looking at them!

We really enjoyed our stay in Apartment A028. The facilities were really fantastic. Unfortunately, on the ground floor's bathroom there was no hot water and the TV's living room, also on the ground floor, have no sound. In spite of that, everything was great.

We stayed in this apartment with a couple of our friends for a short period of time in November 2008. It is very well located and gives you all the possibilities to enjoy the city. The apartment is indeed artistic, it's owner is a pop artist and the apartment is filled with his works some of which are of quite erotic nature but it is something you do enjoy in this extravagant city. The apartment consists of two separate apartments with the same entrance and with the stairs from the 1st floor apartment to the 2nd one (which as in all other Dutch old houses is quite inconvenient to climb (especially for the older people or those who have had couple of extra pints).
In general the apartment on the 2nd floor is much more nicer than the one on the 1st floor, which makes them unequal; it has a much better bathroom and it is well heated. The bedroom of the apartment on the 1st floor has large windows facing the road which makes you put the curtains down all the time which makes the room pretty dark. Also the apartment on the 1st floor was not heated enough and it was quite damp some times. The bathroom of the apartment on the 1st floor is very out of date. Both apartments have nice living areas and fully equipped kitchens. Apartment on the 1st floor also has a little garden with two chairs and a cocktail table. We were advised that one can not make any nose after 10 pm (meaning no parties are available) as the neighbors would simply call a police.
We have always been staying in good hotels and it was our first experience of renting an apartment instead. Despite the fact that you do not get the usual hotel services (change of towels, linens, cleaning, room service etc). which we have missed a lot, renting an apartment was a great experience which gave us an opportunity to enjoy the city as its actual residents. We did enjoy a lot this apartment (especially those of us who stayed on the 2nd floor) and I would recommend it to young couples or those who do not pay much attention to small inconveniences and can enjoy living in a truly artistic surrounding.

We stayed at the apartment for 10 days with our one year old son and had a fantastic time there. The apartment had everything that we needed. The location of the apartment was perfect, as it wasn't in the craziness of the city, but within a 10 minute walking distance to all amenities and tourist spots (20 minute walk to Central Station).
The apartment is in great condition, with 2 fantastic balconies (Noting that the balconies need to be kept closed if your children are small) and a very relaxing bath. The stairs are very steep but manageable, as it is only to the first floor. We would highly recommend this apartment to couples or young families.

This is a beautiful flat, very spacious, light and clean. It is extremely well decorated with a lovely bathroom and kitchen.
It is in a good location; it is a quiet residential area, but it is easy to get to the main museums, the city centre, Vondelpark and the other tourist areas. There are some very nice bars, cafes and restaurants nearby.
We would definitely stay here again.
