Our stay in Amsterdam and the house-boat was very nice. The boat has been very comfortable and exceeded our expectations. Then Mrs. Cajano was really courteous and hospitable and we want to thank her so much. Thanks also to all of you.

We stayed for 3 days at this cosy houseboat. everything was fine. It was very clean, the kitchen has everything what you need (oven, microwave, dishwasher,....). 3 bedrooms and large flat TV televison. It was a ten minute walk to the center. A supermarket is in the next street. Unfortunately no deck where you can sit if sun is shining........

We had the chance to choose this boat to spend one week in August ( 2 adults and 3 teen) It was a very nice experience. We appreciated it' situation, and accomodations.
Also clean and bright.

I think that we'll probably come back from France on the same boat if we can.

It was really pleasant to stay in this house boat, so nice, as Isabel and Anna are really sympatical , by allowing us to stay in , close to the center.

Notre séjour du 12 au 16 mai 2010 sur la péniche B035 a été très agréable. La péniche est dans un quartier calme tout en étant à proximité immédiate du centre d'Amsterdam, ce qui nous a permis de visiter la ville à loisir.
L'intérieur de la péniche est joliment décoré et le tout est fonctionnel.
Enfin l'accueil de la propriétaire est chaleureux et amical.
En un mot : parfait.

Isabel was fantastic and gave us lots of suggestions for things to do and places to see. She even set us up with some welcome groceries.The boat itself was kept very tidy and was clean, warm and inviting. Very close to the tram and metro. Overall very charming and we enjoyed it very much. I would absolutely recommend it over a hotel anytime for the authentic experience. You will not go wrong with this one.

I have to say I was a bit sceptical. But the pictures looked good, so why not. And expectations were not met - they were exceeded.

We were received very nicely by Darren, who took us through the walk of the boat. Any and all questions he could answer very well!

The houseboat is situated in a calm part of the city, not very far from anything - trams and metro takes you wherever you want to go, and quickly, too. The houseboat is very well kept, clean, nicely set-up and, best of all, nice beds! Wonderful to sleep in the double-bed :)

In the morning, when we opened the windows and made breakfast, the local bird-life (various types of swimming birds like ducks and coots) came to greet good-morning :) and to get some morning toast... :D It was soo nice :D

I have to say that this was definitely not the last time I stayed in a house-boat.

Houseboat B035 is very warmly recommended!

The houseboat is very nice and really confortable. We had a very good time with our children.

Together with my family I spent the Easter Days in 2009 on this nice and cosy houseboat. Isabel, the owner, received us on our arrival as if we were old friends - it was like coming home. And during our stay we really felt at home - there wasn't a single thing we missed. Moreover, the location of the boat is perfect: the city centre is in walking distance, and the next metro station only a short walk away.

My friend and I have just returned from a long weekend in the dam, staying on BO35 and cannot talk highly enough about what a lovely place it was to stay.

Within walking distance of the Red Light District, Museum District & Tram Stops, it really was so peaceful and relaxing having somewhere to just chill out!!!!

A very comfortable, spacious and clean place to stay which I would definately book to stay at again....and there's a small Spar shop 3mins walk away!

It is a very nice and cozy apartment, on a quiet street, not too far (and not to close :) to the heart of the city. I havent met the owner, but her friends (Theo and Darren) that are taking care of the boat are very nice people and we really appreciate all the help they gave us.

I would recommend to contact Theodor (owner's friend) by phone prior to the arrival, because he does not check his e-mail on regullar basis, and i wouldn't depend on the web-site administration, because the let me down on it.

Our stay in Amsterdam this time was special due to the houseboat we had at our disposal. A well maintained boat with a homely atmosphere and and all conveniences aboard. The boat was a great place to come back to after a hectic day in the city or Germany. I would like to live in the same boat everytime I come to Amsterdam!!! Thanks for your services

Once again www.houseboathotel.nl came up trumps. Theo, who settled us in, was courteous and ran through the basics of the boat and where the local facilities were. The houseboat itself was beautiful, comfortable, and very conveniently placed for the centre of town. The bed was extremely comfortable and the whole experience was tranquil and calm. Thank you to Ilonk, and Isabel and Theo.

Our family, with 2 children age 13 and 9, loved the houseboat for it was so comfy for the kids with electric piano, DVD players, and frequent visits from ducks to swans every day, and hope that we can pay visit to Amsterdam and stay at the same place once again. We found the location very convenient with nearby subway station, supermarket, tram station, etc., and inspite of such conveniency, the neighborhood was quiet and safe. I would like to thank the owner and her friend Theo, for giving us the opportunity to stay at their wonderful houseboat.

The location of this boat is ideal--close enough to the center of the city to make everything walkable, but also tucked away on a quiet street to make coming home a sweet relief. The accomodations are top-notch, especially the kitchen, which is spacious and stocked with appliances and utensils so that one is able to cook on premises. The boat is spacious, bright and breezy and we felt instantly at home.

We stayed on the Houseboat B035 for a week in September. The weather was gorgeous and sunny and the boat was bright and cheery. The accommodation is conveniently located to a supermarket for shopping. Also, main attractions such as the museums, Leidesplein and the central train station are all within 20-30 minute walking distance. The boat is furnished to a nice standard and is well equipped with cooking and kitchen utensils. Extra amenities include satellite TV, DVD and CD players and a clothes washing machine.

We enjoyed this houseboat apartment because it was very clean and in a pleasant location close to the Metro/Tram and Bus lines. The landlady was very helpful and made our stay worth repeating. I'd recommend it to anyone.

We had a great time on the B035 boat, especially as my sister could sail by in her smal boat and pick us up for sailling through the channels.
The weather was good and we loved the atmosphere in the boat. Just perfect for relaxing!
