I have stayed in House-Boat B082 for a week with my family.
Better description of House-Boat B082 would be a luxury home on the river Amstel in the peaceful surrounding. We have enjoyed our stay and can recommend it highly. Frank (landlord) is a wonderful guy and easy going person who made us feel at home. We are looking forward at staying in B082 again.

Yes - it's that simple!

A great place to stay; clean, warm and inviting with good facilities and connection to the rest of the city, whilst offering an oasis of peace and tranquillity.Everything you could possibly need is either already provided or available within easy walking distance. The location and design give a wonderful sense of space from which to enjoy the activity on the river, or simply to relax and watch the world pass silently by.
We were a party of four with a fifth guest for two nights, and all of us were delighted with the space and enjoyed our stay immensely. Frank made us feel very welcome and at ease from the first moment of our arrival, and was supportive throughout our visit.
After eight years of searching for comfortable and practical accommodation in this area, I would recommend this whole-heartedly.... it certainly exceeded our best expectations, and we are looking forward to staying here again at the earliest opportunity. Thank-you Frank.

Un formidable séjour, en partie grace à notre lieu de residence!

Famille de 2 adultes et 2 enfants avons séjourné une semaine dans cet house boat suréquipé, trés confortable et spacieux, rien ne manque.
Acceuillis par le propriétaire qui nous a fais partagé un tour en bateau le lendemain pour nous amener dans le centre via l'Amstel,il est trés bien situé à environ 15 minutes du centre (nous étions en vélo) que nous avons pu parquer facilement )), prés d'un petit parc, avec un supermarché à minutes à pied, la visite des canards et cygnes le matin et le passage des entrainements d'aviron le soir pour tout spectacle!
Je le recommande vivement si vous aimez le calme et desirez eviter l'agitation du centre ville parfois.

Great Place to Stay!

We stayed on this houseboat for a week while attending a conference at the RAI. It was a comfortable and welcoming place to stay. The houseboat is beautiful and very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed waking up every morning to the view of the Amstel River. Public transportation and shopping were all very close and easy to walk to. Thank you to our host Frank for making our vist so memorable.

La location était idéale, très luxueuse, mis à part la terrasse qui mériterait un petit coup de propre.
La péniche est à côté d'un tram qui permet de rejoindre très facilement le centre d'amsterdam.
Le propriétaire est vraiment très sympathique, nous avons passé un excellent week-end !

A wonderful stay ...

We are 3 friends from Istanbul and we just spent four great days in Amsterdam staying on this houseboat. Frank is a wonderful host and the boat was cosy warm when we arrived. There was plenty of room for us to have a enjoying and relaxing holiday. The weather was mixed during our stay and it was beautiful to watch the river in the rain, have some drinks with jazz music. The stereo system was good enough to give a party and the bathroom is well designed. Grocery and market were within walking distance as was the tram to the city center. The houseboat had everything we required and it was clean. (Thank you again Frank for the complimentary bottle of wine as were all the little extras you provided - tea, coffee, beer etc. :) )
Will come back again when in Amsterdam and will definitely recommend to our friends.
