Wir (zwei Erwachsene und zwei Kinder (15 und 2 Jahre alt)) haben uns auf dem Boot sehr wohl gefühlt. Die sehr geschmackvolle Einrichtung gibt dem Boot ein sehr schönes Ambiente. Die vielen, nicht selbstverständlichen Details haben den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm gemacht. Wir haben unsere Zeit in Amsterdam wirklich sehr geniessen können, dank dem Boot und den netten Gastgebern! Es war bisher die beste "Ferienwohnung", die wir bei unseren Reisen je hatten. Patrice und Famile

Wir haben ein paar Wunderschöne Tage bei ihnen auf ihrem tollen Hausboot in Amsterdam verbracht.

This is the second time we stayed at the houseboat. The first was in January 2012. we loved it so much the first time we said that if I would come back only if we could stay in the houseboat. this time we came with friends. They also love the houseboat! Much better than staying in a hotel! See you again one day!

As a regular boat stayer in Amsterdam, I can safely say that B078 was one of the finer boats I had rented out. Upon arrival the owner was there to greet us and was very happy to show me everything I needed, and the boat itself was very clean which is nice after a 7hour journey.
The boat has all the needed white goods and is fitted out very well overall.
Very enjoyable stay, and a boat to keep on my list for future trips.

Wonderful Space, all the amenities and overall a very memorable stay. The owner came by to seperate the beds to accomdate our needs better. Don't see service like that every day. The tour boats were awesome! Thanks for a great time.

We fell in love with the houseboat at first sight: it was the perfect little oasis for our young family where we could really "live" and eat/sleep/play within close proximity to everything Amsterdam has to offer. We rented bikes from Ajaxbikes (5 mins away) and loved the flexibility that gave us. We really felt like locals. Special thanks to Carolien for all the little extras provided in the houseboat - dishwasher tablets, sugar, tea, coffee, etc. That is what really sets this place apart from normal tourist accommodation and makes a house a home. We will be back VERY soon.

Thank you for a wonderful houseboat experience. Our family of four loved the modern conveniences, the deck and the passing canal boats. How nice to have a grocery store less than a block away. We walked everywhere in Amsterdam and never took a tram or metro. The maps, instructions and guidebooks were very helpful and Carolien is wonderful!

We enjoyed everything about your wonderful houseboat. The aquatic birds (that called us morning and evening for some bread), the sunny deck, the convenient location, the restaurant suggestions and the lovely touches (a bottle of wine and fresh flowers). We rented bikes from Ajax Bike Rentals and biked everywhere with our two boys (ages 11 & 13). We even took them to Den Haag and hiked to Madurodam to see the small scale Netherlands highlights. We will definitely return and stay here!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour sur cette "péniche", ou plutôt houseboat moderne, très fonctionnel, très bien situé.
Nous avons été très bien accueillis par Carolien.
Le seul souci que nous avons eu est un détecteur de fumée qui sonnait (sans trace de fumée pourtant) et que nous avons dû désactiver nous-mêmes afin d'être tranquilles. Heureusement que mon mari est un "MacGiver" et qu'il est ingénieux !!..
Mais expérience réussie, à recommander sans problème, à refaire...

I spent a week in Jan Peter's houseboat around New Year's Eve 2012 with 3 other friends. Just everything was ideal and perfect. When we arrived, Jan Peter explained us everything about the houseboat and it's gadgets. He is a really kind person and determinded to help in every way. And if there are still problems, you can have a look in an easy understandable instruction folder. You also get magazines and maps about Amsterdam, which was really usefull. The inner of the houseboat is very stylish with cute and beatiful details. Everything was clean and tidy, which is an important fact. Moreover I have to mention the good heater system, because the temperature changes in a short time to the desired warmth. The light in the living room/kitchen is really nice, because you can dim it from bright to a romantic darker version. The beds have been absolutely comfortable and that the boat has two showers is just convenient, because nobody had to wait a long time. If you need anything you wouldn't expect, I promiss, you'll find it. The kitchen is full equiped, there even were some spaghettis for us but apart from that you need to provide your own food. Now something about the location. The next Subway station „Wesperplein“ is just 5 minutes away by foot. A supermarket is located on the other side of the street. It's nice to have a look at the water, while standing on the little patio wich has two chairs. The pitch and toss on the boat is not as hard as we thought. We only noticed it sometimes but it's slightly. All in all it was the best decision to spend our time in Amsterdam on this boat, there is nothing we would criticise.
