Great place! Quiet location, but still in the middle of the city. Friendly hosts, as well.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and new. Had everything we needed. Having someone at the boat was very helpful. Right down the street from a tram stop and on a quiet street. Less expensive than a hotel and was part of our great Amsterdam experience.

we would like to thank you for the fantastic weekend at your houseboat.
It was the best place to stay for a townvisit we`ve ever had. Although it was cold outside, we walked a lot through town, all the time looking forward to get back to the Keizerinn to have a break.
Everything we wanted to see in Amsterdam was nearby and the boat is so comfortable that we were very sad to leave after the weekend. The best time we had was just sitting in the boat.
We hope to find a date to come back soon.

If you like to fix your own meals, and in addition finds it exotic to live on a houseboat, deKeizerinn will be the perfect place for you. Its suitable for couples, and although its not too spacious, you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay.
The location of the boat is convenient, as Waterlooplein is just minutes away. Still Nieuwe Keizergracht is a very quiet place. We didn't hear any sounds apart from the wind during the night.
We can absolutely recomend DeKeizerinn for your next stay i Amsterdam!

My wife and I enjoyed a long weekend - all be it a very rainy - in Amsterdam. Having the De Keizerinn as our base was one of the highlights of our trip. It was a cozy and very peaceful spot - not just at night - but also in the late afternoon when we typically came back, rather wet, from our trips around the city and could relax with a cup of fresh brewed coffee from the coffee machine in the kitchenette, while watching the bird life on the canal as well as in the small park right across the canal from the boat. We did have one or two very short sunny breaks where we truly got to enjoy the 360 degree view thru all the windows of the "wheelhouse". All in all a very central location, with subway stations and numerous tram stops within very short distance, while also just a mere 1500 meter walking distance to Dam Square.
Peter our host was very accommodating and helpful which also added to the pleasantness of the stay.

We came for a weekend in August to Amsterdam and had beautyful days on this lovely boat. It’s nicely located on a quiet canal just across a little park. The room is small, but very cosy and has everything you need. We slept very well and enjoyed breakfast in the morning and a drink in the evening out on deck. The hosts are very friendly and welcoming.
We like to come back to Amsterdam and De Keizerinn!!!

De Keizerinn is the perfect place to call "home" while visiting Amsterdam! Set on a quiet canal across from a beautiful park, the location is within walking distance to many restaurants and activities. The owners are very friendly and extremely accommodating and have done a superb job of refurbishing the boat to include everything you could possibly need. Highly recommended!

Would definately try to stay there again on a return to Amsterdam.

Wir waren im Oktober für ein langes Wochenende in Amsterdam und sind sehr froh, uns für diese Unterkunft entschieden zu haben. Ein Hausboot an sich ist eine tolle Alternative zum Hotel und dieses Hausboot hat uns schier begeistert. Für 2 Personen gut geeignet, neu ausgebaut, alles sehr sauber und herrlich gemütlich. Es war alles vorhanden was man für ein paar Tage Amsterdam braucht (Kühlschrank, Toaster, mini-Grill, kleiner Herd, Senseo-Maschine...). Das Frühstück am Steuerrad mit Blick auf die Grachten war einzigartig, und geschlafen haben wir in dem Bett auch sehr gut. Außerdem ist der Besitzer sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Wenn wir nochmal nach Amsterdam fahren, werden wir gerne wieder dieses Hausboot nehmen. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

We enjoyed our short stay in Amsterdam so much! Your houseboat is so lovely and close to the city- especially the waterlooplein market...
But our stay was simply too short!
I told a lot of people about your houseboat and if they saw our pictures, they all have been inspired! Surely we will come again- perhaps with our children, then in your other boat- Amstel overnights! Or we will nevertheless become neighbours...:-)

It was just perfect: Peter, the boat, the water through the portholes, the little terrace on the canal, the swans in the morning.
Quiet and romantic in the center of Amsterdam. As a stay at home, a new home.

Situé à un jet de pierre du centre, cet hébergement nous à tout de suite séduit par son atmosphère de cocon. Le propriétaire est aussi accueillant qu'il est discret. Une très bonne adresse que nous recommandons chaleureusement. Et cerise sur le gâteau, une petite bouteille de vin rouge nous attendait à l'intérieur !
Situated within a stone's throw by the center, this hosting we in at once seduces by its atmosphere of cocoon. The owner is as well welcoming as he is discreet. A very good address which we recommend warmly. And a small bottle of red wine waited for us inside!
