Fabulous place to stay in Amsterdam. The neighborhood is beautiful, easy walk to the tram, wonderful restaurants. Brenda and her husband Stephan were so nice and welcoming. Stephan picked us up at the train station on arrival. The flat is on the 3rd floor of their beautiful home. It has everything you possibly could need and very quaint. My husband and I just loved it. The price was more than reasonable, bed very comfortable, and beautiful terrace. I would highly recommend Brenda’s Bed and Breakfast to a couple, business traveler, or single traveler. Thank you Brenda for everything, hope to return someday and stay with you again!

Thank you for a lovely stay. The apartment more than exceeded expectations and although the website said that on arrival food for one breakfast would be provided, there was enough for two or three. Also the apartment was thoughtfully stocked with essentials like coffee (fresh coffee for coffee maker), tea, honey, biscuits and butter.
The apartment is the upper floor/attic conversion of a beautiful 20's house in a lovely residential area and it is, as it says on the website, very close to RAi (5-10 minutes walk). I don't think the website does justice to quite what a lovely location this is, with easy walking access to high quality restaurants and shops in a very relaxing and quieter area of the city. Though the heart of the city is easily reached by tram or on foot (only 30 minutes walk along lovely boulevards) - or cycle.
Our hosts, Brenda and her husband were very welcoming and I'm sure that they would have been very helpful should we have needed anything. Meals can also be provided for an additional fee if arranged in advance, but since our stay was relatively short and busy we were never able to plan ahead.

We stayed here over Easter 2010 and found it to be excellent. We were warmly welcomed by Brenda and Stefan on the Friday evening and shown to our studio. It consisted of the top floor of a 3 story house, consisting of kitchen, bathroom, dinng room and bedroom. We were told that breakfast had been provided for one morning, when in fact there was enough food to last us for three!. All the rooms were very clean and the bedroom had a terrace looking out over gardens
Brendas studio is situated in the old South of the city, a very quiet and respectable neighbourhood but within 20 minutes walk of Leiseplein and if you're feeling fit, 40mins from Centraal. If walking isnt your thing then take the 5 or 24 tram.

WE HAD THE PERFECT STAY AT BRENDAS B & B. VERY CLEAN AND BEAUTIFUL ROOMS MADE WITH LOTS OF LOVE FOR THE DETAILS. ALSO YOUR OWN BEAUTIFUL BALCONY AND A HUGE WUNDERFUL GARDEN. THE OWNERS ARE VERY NICE, HELPFUL WITH INFORMATIONS AND EVEN RENT BIKES!
