Apartment A028 ****

Ce bel et grand appartement convient pour deux couples ou une famille. C'est un appartement lumineux au  mobilier moderne, élégant et artistique (le propriétaire est un peintre).  il existe en fait deux appartements. L’ appartement du rez-de-chaussée ainsi que l'appartement du premier étage ont chacun une salle de séjour, une chambre confortable, une cuisine entièrement équipée et une salle de bains (l’une avec douche, l’autre avec douche et baignoire séparée). Il ya deux toilettes. Dans l’un des salons vous disposez également d’un canapé convertible et il y a un lit de bébé disponible. Un petit jardin et deux balcons, avec vue sur les jardins, vous donnent la possibilité de prendre le soleil toute la journée. Connection Wifi internet ADSL (gratuit), radio, trois télévisions et un sèche-cheveux sont à votre disposition. Il est autorisé de fumer.

Cet appartement est à seulement 5 minutes à pied de Leidseplein (Leidse square) et du Vondelpark. La place Leidseplein fourmille de cafés, restaurants et discothèques. Les rues commerçantes pour votre shopping (normal et de luxe, comme la célèbre PC Hooftstraat – l’équivalent de notre faubourg St Honoré), et les musées sont à quelques minutes de marche. Au coin de la rue, vous trouverez un magasin d’alimentation biologique.

Review of "Apartment A028"

The apartment is convinient placed just outside the very center of Amsterdam, approx. 5 min walk from Leidseplein.
Walking to many of the interesting sites in the city can be done in less than half an hour from this place, and several tramlines are within 2 min. of walking distance (line no.: 1-3-12).
The apartment is clean and, I think, very nice (!), though not "modern" it has all you need, and is actually two full apartments except for only one shower/bath room. It has a first and second floor, both with full equipped kitchen, livingroom, toilet and bedrom, with a combined main entrance to a quiete neighbourhood.. The staircase to second floor is narrow and steep.
We were 3 persons there for almost 5 days, and had plenty of space, and had a great time, far better than any hotel.
The landlord is a nice guy, and helpful if you want him to be. He is an artist, and displayes some of his work on the walls of the apartment, - which undoubtly will give something fun to discuss...-should you visit this great place.

I found the place to be alot bigger than i had anticipated. It was well kitted out for all your needs including coffee witch was essential.
My only gripe is that the furniture could have been more comfortable, and the noise coming from the street due to the road works was a bit annoying, but will be temperary i know. I found the flat in a good location to shops and trams, very good organic shop 5min away.
overall my time in the flat was very pleasant, the hot and cold water in the shower kept going hot then cold when in the shower, hope the owner will fix this, big let down, but then you could just have a magnificent bath witch was fantastic(easy fits two peaple).
I would give the place a 6.5/10
