Dieses zweigeschossige Studio/Appartement ist vom Hauptbahnhof in 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar und für 3 bis 4 Personen geeignet. Es ist ein nationales Denkmal aus dem Jahr 1652 und befindet sich in einer ruhigen und ungefährlichen "grünen" Fußgängerstraße im historischen Herzen von Amsterdam.


Das Haus ist bezaubernd und hat einige historische Besonderheiten. Um die Ecke gibt es eine wunderschöne Gracht und ein lebendiges Viertel mit Shops, Restaurants und Kneipen. Das Rotlichtviertel ist in der Nähe.

Das geräumige Appartement (70m2) hat ein Wohnzimmer mit einer Couch, die zum Doppelbett umgebaut werden kann, ein Schlafzimmer, eine separate komplette Küche, ein Badezimmer (en suite) und einen Patio. Eine kabellose Internetverbindung, Fernseher mit Flachbildschirm, DVD, Waschmaschine, Backofen, Bücher und ein Babybett usw. stehen Ihnen selbstverständlich zur Verfügung. Wonderful experience!

We can not be any happier with the decision to rent the apartment from Arjen! The location was perfect, the bed was comfortable, and the apartment was warm and spacious. We paid far less per night than we did when we stayed at the Convent Hotel last year. Arjen was the perfect host, he took us for a walk around the area to show us the good restaurants, bakery, butcher, grocer, and gave us a history lesson. Dank je wel, Arjen!

Amsterdam Stay in March 2012

The location of this apartment within 5 minutes of the train station and other amenities was great. A variety of buses leave from the Central Station area, so it makes it easy to get around. The place itself was light, bright, lots of space, well decorated and had a very comfortable bed. We enjoyed the private courtyard right outside the kitchen door that was private. Additionally, Arjen our host was very knowledgeable about the area and provided suggestions on places to see, where to buy groceries, cheese, wine or dine out. The fresh flowers (red tulips) and drinks in the refrigerator after we arrived was so welcome after 10 days of touring Europe. The washer and dryer were great, as we were able to wash all of our clothes for the next part of our trip. I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy Amsterdam.

My friend and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for just a few days in January. PERFECT!! Close to the train station and close to everything. We walked where ever we wanted to go for most of the trip and took public transport only a few times to go to the museums. We walked from the museums back into the heart in under 20 min.
Arjen was our host. He lives upstairs and we could only hear him when he arrives or leaves home. Separate entrances. I could hear him go up and down the stairs, but this is expected in a house built in 1652. He was very helpful and very invisible. We only saw him again the morning we left, and that was by chance. Super nice guy!!
When I return to Amsterdam, I will rent this apartment again. Thanks again Arjen!
