Ein Hausboot, das an einer sehr schönen Stelle in einem überraschend ruhigen Teil des Zentrums der Altstadt liegt. Es ist für 2-4 Personen geeignet. Das Boot bietet einen fantastischen Blick über eine der schönsten Grachten von Amsterdam. Der 'Hendrick', wie es genannt wird, liegt in einem Viertel aus dem 18. Jahrhundert in der Nähe vom "Nieuwmarkt“, dem Schifffahrtsmuseum,  den Läden, Kneipen und Restaurants. 

Das Boot hat eine gut ausgestattete Küche und ein Badezimmer mit Badewanne. Im größten Raum ist ein Wohnbereich und ein king-size Bett. Er ist auch einkleines  Schlafzimmer mit ein Bett 1.40 mtr. Auf dem Dach finden Sie eine Terrasse, von welcher Sie das gemütliche Amsterdam und die schönen alten Kaufmannshäuser genießen können. Eine Treppe führt Sie von der Straße zum Eingang des Bootes. Der 'Hendrick' liegt zu Fuß etwa 5 Min. vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt. Wireless internet steht ihr zur Verfügung !

Great Stay

We just returned from a trip to The Netherlands that started with a 4 night stay on The Hendrick what a great beginning. The boat is centrally located and is walking distance to most highlights and it is also easy to get to the Central Station (5 min walk)and other locations to pick up a tram. The supermarket is a few minutes away in New Market and Jochem has bags there to save on plastic. The Hendrick was well appointed with nice linen and towels (and lots of them), the kitchen is well supplied with cutlery and plates etc but Jochem you may want to purchase a few larger bowls for snacks and to serve food from. It was a very comfortable size for a couple and would work fairly well for 2 couples but would have to be fairly close. We had excellent sleeps the beds were very comfortable (I do not like a hard bed and liked these) and it is so quiet you will love it. Jochem is a great host and the place was very clean upon arrival. You will not regret booking and staying on The Hendrick.

Besser kann man Amsterdam nicht "erleben"; Stilecht in den Grachten.

Great place to stay.

This houseboat has become my new favorite place to stay in Amsterdam. The owner was very nice and friendly, gave us a great history of the city and left us tulips.
The location is ideal, its easy walking distance to the train station and is right near the 'red light' district but not in it so it was very safe. We enjoyed the local bar (which was actually filled with locals and not tourists). Loved sitting on the roof of the houseboat. The place was clean and everything was very modern.
I would highly recommend staying here, except during the times I would like it.
