House-Boat BK87 ***

The Perfect Trip!!!
by Chris and Kari

We stayed on this house boat for 5 days and it was the most amazing experience. It is in a great neighborhood and great location. The house boat it self was quite clean and well equipped to cover all of our needs, to cook meals easily and to use the internet freely/easily. The owner Jackie W. put a great deal of time into making this house boat unique and quite an attraction for people to stop by and enjoy. Every aspect of the interior and exterior has been personally decorated by Jackie and is absolutely charming. It felt like home from the moment we stepped aboard. There is all the essentials very close by such as the market for food, historical and entertainment attractions. Everything and anything is in walking distance. And more importantly provides the charismatic charm that a person would expect from this amazing city. If you want to come to a place that feels like home, then you should come check out this house boat. It was such a joy with it's artistic and one of a kind feel. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!!! We plan to come back to this city and will not stay anywhere else:)

Highly Recommend
by Jay Knighton

Ms. Jackie's boak, BK87, was not as described! It was much better! The reviews were very nice, and we selected this boat due to the great location and good reviews. We were so glad. Ms. Jackie was there to meet us, and everything was in order.
The location couldn't be better. You are on one of the most picturesque canals in Amsterdam. You have a very central location. You are literally across from the famed 9 Streets area. Want to go to Anne Frank - up the canal a couple of blocks, and you can see the Westerkerk clock and keep up with time as it chimes throughout the day. Our favorite area, Rembrandtsplein, was a leisurly stroll down the canal. It is very safe, too. Lots of locals in the area, and everyone is so nice.
The coffee maker is a great percolating coffee pot that you brew on the stove. It made such good coffee. Then you take it in the morning to your patio overlooking the canal. That experience has become my #1 'to do' in all of Europe. Sipping coffee, reading, and sitting on the patio while both tourists and locals float along the canal is an amazing experience. We loved it so much we would get up early, hang out on patio; return around 6, hang out on patio; go out around 9, and return to hang out on the patio. We didn't expect such a great patio experience.
The bed (up and down) are very comfortable. The canal lulls you to sleep as soon as your head hits the pillow.
The only thing some may not like is the bathroom. It is rather small, but we didn't mind. If you are taller than 5'11", you will have to bend over in the shower. OK, so you crouch a little in the shower. You are in Amsterdam. Take a quick shower and get back to the patio for some major relaxation.
I have filled my passport book in the last 5 years with trips to Europe, and this one, although only a 4 day trip, was the best experience. A+ all the way.
