Dieses Hausboot liegt im Fluss Amstel in einer ruhigen Gegend namens "ZuiderAmstel", in der Nähe vom Stadtzentrum und dem lebendigen und beliebten Viertel "de Pijp" mit vielen Shops, Kneipen und Restaurants, die von den Einheimischen besucht werden. Hier finden Sie ebenfalls den längsten Markt der Niederlande, den "Albert Cuyp".

Thijs und Maria bieten ein geräumiges Gästezimmer, komfortabel wie zu Hause. Bei der Ankunft ist der Kühlschrank mit Softdrinks, Bier und Wein gefüllt. Es gibt ein reichhaltiges Frühstück (in einem Korb), das nach Wunsch in der gemeinsamen Küche oder im Zimmer serviert werden kann. Im Zimmerpreis ist das Frühstück nicht mit begriffen (7,50 Euro p.P. kontinentales Frühstück). Wenn das Wetter schön ist, können Sie das Frühstück auch draußen auf einem der Decks geniessen.

Das Zimmer hat ein privates Badezimmer ensuite mit Badewanne, separater Dusche, Waschbecken und Toilette. Es besteht die Möglichkeit, Kaffee und Tee zu kochen. Im Zimmer gibt es einen Fernseher, einen DVD- und CD-Spieler sowie ein Radio, eine kabellose Internetverbindung und einen Safe. Die Minibar finden Sie im Flur. Great stay

We had a great stay with Thijs and Maria. They were both very friendly and extremely helpful. The distance to the city center was not an issue at all, we either walked or used the public transportation. The houseboat itself was very comfortable and we would definitely spend our next trip to Amsterdam here as well. Thanks again for everything Thijs and Maria!!!

Brilliant place to stay. We did wonder beforehand if this might be too far out of the centre of town but it proved to be ideal. It's not really that big a city and I was so glad to be staying in Amstel. Only 10-15 mins from the centre of Amsterdam once you've sussed the trams and buses. But just that bit quieter and yet somehow still having everything the city centre has but less frantic. Really nice.
Staying on the house boat just made our holiday. The hosts were magnificent and lovely people. I believe where you stay has a massive effect on your holidays and this place was just lovely. Would go back tomorrow if I could afford it and if there was availability. Sadly both are lacking.

Nice B&B place on a quiet spot with good view

I have been at many places of Houseboathotel. This one I booked on very short notice because it was on walking discance to the RAI and close to Amstelstation (with Metro 7 min to city center). The hosts are very nice and friendly and I enyoied also the breakfast which was freshly made just for us. While having breakfast you have a stunning view to the Amstel.
The place is very clean and verything perfect. Even the "minibar" with the most affordable drinks ever surprised me.
For me this was perfect but perhaps you should know it. The room is in the bottom of the boat, but with a window on the "roof" (deck). So it is in the summer very nice and not to hot, but there is no direct view ouside the bedroom, but no problem for me. We were able to sit outside on the terrace ;-)
I can recommand it and will deinitly go there again ;-)
