Apartment A028 ****

Dieses schöne und große Appartement besteht faktisch aus zwei Appartements und ist dadurch sehr gut geeignet für zwei Paare oder eine Familie. Es ist ein helles Appartement und das Mobiliar ist modern, still- und kunstvoll (der Besitzer ist Maler). Sowohl das Appartement im Erdgeschoss als auch im ersten Stock haben ein Wohnzimmer, ein komfortables Schlafzimmer, eine vollkommen ausgestattete Küche und ein adezimmer. Das eine Badezimmer hat eine Dusche, im anderen gibt es eine Dusche und eine separate Badewanne. Es gibt zwei Toiletten. In einem der Wohnzimmer befindet sich eine Couch, die zum Bett umgebaut werden kann. Dazu ist ein Baby-Bett erhältlich. Ein kleiner Garten und zwei Balkons, davon einer mit Blick auf den Garten geben Ihnen die Möglichkeit, den ganzen Tag über die Sonne zu genießen. Eine Wifi DSL Internet-Verbindung (kostenlos), ein Radio, drei Fernseher und ein Haartrockner stehen Ihnen zur Verfügung. Das Rauchen ist erlaubt.

Von diesem Appartement sind es nur  5 Minuten zu Fuß zum Leidseplein und zum Vondelpark. Auf dem Leidseplein gibt es viele Kneipen, Restaurants und Diskotheken. Einkaufsstraßen (normal und luxuriös, wie die berühmte PC Hooftstraße), und Museen befinden sich in Gehweite. An der Ecke gibt es einen speziellen Laden mit biologischen Lebensmitteln.

Review of "Apartment A028"

The apartment is convinient placed just outside the very center of Amsterdam, approx. 5 min walk from Leidseplein.
Walking to many of the interesting sites in the city can be done in less than half an hour from this place, and several tramlines are within 2 min. of walking distance (line no.: 1-3-12).
The apartment is clean and, I think, very nice (!), though not "modern" it has all you need, and is actually two full apartments except for only one shower/bath room. It has a first and second floor, both with full equipped kitchen, livingroom, toilet and bedrom, with a combined main entrance to a quiete neighbourhood.. The staircase to second floor is narrow and steep.
We were 3 persons there for almost 5 days, and had plenty of space, and had a great time, far better than any hotel.
The landlord is a nice guy, and helpful if you want him to be. He is an artist, and displayes some of his work on the walls of the apartment, - which undoubtly will give something fun to discuss...-should you visit this great place.

I found the place to be alot bigger than i had anticipated. It was well kitted out for all your needs including coffee witch was essential.
My only gripe is that the furniture could have been more comfortable, and the noise coming from the street due to the road works was a bit annoying, but will be temperary i know. I found the flat in a good location to shops and trams, very good organic shop 5min away.
overall my time in the flat was very pleasant, the hot and cold water in the shower kept going hot then cold when in the shower, hope the owner will fix this, big let down, but then you could just have a magnificent bath witch was fantastic(easy fits two peaple).
I would give the place a 6.5/10

Open Eyes

My husband and I had a fantastic, first class stay in this apartment. It had everything we required... a bath, heating, cosy but spacious accomodation, handy location for trams, great kitchen (only one hob, but we coped somehow) and a lovely garden. Oh, and smoking allowed. I am quite sure I will forever have Mori Bund's artwork imprinted in my brain where I keep memories.
