Dieses Appartement liegt an der ersten Gracht im Zentrum von Amsterdam, dem Singel. In der Nähe vom Blumenmarkt und in der Mitte der 9 berühmten kleinen Gassen im Viertel „Jordaan“.  Es gibt ein Wohnzimmer, eine nagelneue Küche, ein neues Badezimmer und ein Arbeitszimmer. Die meisten Zimmer haben Aussicht auf die Gracht, den Singel. Es gibt eine kostenlose schnelle DSL-Verbindung! Das Appartement liegt in einem sehr vornehmen Viertel von Amsterdam. Es sind zwei Minuten zu Fuß zu einer der zwei Haupteinkaufsstraßen von Amsterdam, der Kalverstraat (die andere ist in der Verlängerung der Kalverstraat, in Richtung Hauptbahnhof). Auch zwei Minuten zu Fuß vom Appartement befindet sich das Odeon, wo Sie jeden Abend zu unterschiedlicher Musik tanzen können, der Platz Leidseplein und das Historische Museum, ein Muss!

Eine Minute vom Odeon entfernt gibt es einen Supermarkt (Albert Heijn), in dem Sie Ihre Lebensmittel kaufen können und auf der anderen Straßenseite von Albert Heijn ist der weltberühmte Blumenmarkt. Eine S-Bahn Station oder 10 Minuten zu Fuß ist der Platz “de Dam” entfernt, auf dem sich das Palais befindet, in dem Königin Beatrix arbeitet (sie wohnt jedoch in Den Haag). An bestimmten Tagen ist das Palais auf dem Dam geöffnet. Prüfen Sie, ob Sie das Glück haben und das Palais besichtigen können. Vielleicht sehen Sie sogar, dass das Fahrrad der Königin Beatrix draußen steht! Auch finden Sie hier Madame Tussauds, das berühmte Wachsfiguren-Museum.

Amsterdam pied-a-terre

The apartment on the Singel canal is a delightful place to experience Amsterdam. The apartment is well furnished although the steep stairs can be a challenge. During holidays and the weekend, noise from the street can disturb light sleepers. This is cancelled out by the delight of sitting watching locals and tourists passing by. Each time we entered the apartment from the street, we felt like locals. The apartment is located close to the main tourist attractions is close to many excellent restaurants. Rachel and Patrick de Letter are wonderful hosts. They are available for helpful advice but are never intrusive. If you want an apartment capable of accommodating up to ten people, this is ideal.

We stayed at this beautiful house in April and enjoyed it so much we are hoping to return later in the year . We were there with our 3 year old daughter who loved waving at the boat trips go past the windows , the view down the canal couldn't be any better and we spent our evenings watching the world go by :-) .
Our Hosts were extemely nice and even arranged for a car to pick us up and drop us at the Airport ( a godsend when travelling with a small child ! ) . The area was fantastic with a supermarket within 100yards and lots of fabulous small shops / coffee shops / and restaurants a short stroll away , our host gave us great information on cafes and things to do with our young daughter - brilliant !
I cannot recommend this apartment enough , the house was perfect for us , the views amazing , and the Hosts superp - what more could you ask for :-)

Very enjoyable stay!

We very much enjoyed our stay at the apartment. The owners Rachel and Patrick were friendly, helpful and accommodating (we also enjoyed the wine and Easter eggs - thank you!). The apartment was clean and well equipped and in an excellent central location. The 5 of us in the party covered 3 generation and there was plenty of space for all of us - my children loved climbing up and down between the different floors. The view from the front windows alone made the apartment - we could have spent hours just watching the world go by! The excellent location did mean it was quite noisy through the night with late night revellers passing by, but once I'd got some earplugs - no problem! I would definitely recommend the apartment and your website to my friends. Thank you.
