Loved this place.
by Andraya Nemerow

We really enjoyed our stay. Dorthy was super friendly and accommodating. The place was spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a great breakfast nook that looks out onto the canal. It was in a nice location, within close walking distance to coffee shops, bakery, and an organic market. The little French restaurant on the floor below was absolutely delicious. All around a great place to stay!

Perfect Location
by Scott Grisham

We had been to Amsterdam previously- before kids and had a great time...but this was a different vacation! This apartment was perfectly located to more of a real Amsterdam and we had a great time eating, museum-ing, shopping etc. Definitely follow the park and ride instructions...it was so easy. We used the Arena park and ride and it was only 7 or 8 metro stops to the stop that is about a block and a half from the front door of the apartment.
We thought the apartment was perfect as a family with 3 children...both beds are in living areas though- so not sure if it would be perfect for two couples wanting more privacy. It was a bit chilly while we were there so we only got to sit out on the terrace for a drink one evening, it was so pleasant though. The view from the front rooms of the canal and street cars was a wonderful view as well. The apartment has a full kitchen so even though we only had breakfast in the apartment the dishwasher was a nice touch!
The French restaurant just under the apartment was very good, the Chateaubriand was amazing and they have very good childrens plates as well. Lots of restaurants all around. We definitely enjoyed our trip!

Best spot in town.
by Domenica Devine

This apartment was fabulous. Spacious with some lovely appointments. Charming and very clean. There are lots of shops and restaurants within walking distance, 2-5 minutes, and a bakery right on the corner. Yum. While it is located above a small French Bistro which incidentally serves great food and has a lovely helpful staff, the noise is negligible, so don't worry. Nor do cooking odors invade the space.
The view from the front is of the canal bridge and the canal. So nice. And the back has a pleasant porch, which is a peaceful and cool place to sit under the trees.
Dorothea is a helpful hostes and she was a delight to deal with. you can't go wrong with this apartment.
