Perfect Stay in Amsterdam
by Charles Loewen

Convenient within walking distance form the central station even with a lot of luggage. We arrived late because of mistakes in trains from Schipol. Nonetheless, Arjens was more that patient and cooperative in helping us settle into the flat and the neighbourhood. We highly recommend the convenience, comfort and affordability of this property.

We booked this apartment last minute and we were so glad we did. It is a beautiful flat in a traditional narrow amsterdam house. The location in the picturesque Jordaan is perfect for us, five minutes walk from the busy RLD and Centraal but with a much more relaxed feel. Good restaurants nearby - we were particularly impressed with the Captein cafe. Arjen was friendly and punctual, even giving us a quick walking tour of the area which was very helpful.
The one small negative was that sound from people walking across the bare floors upstairs travels quite a bit. This was only really a problem on the first night when the group upstairs appeared to be on some kind of clacky shoe-d walking marathon. Didn't spoil our enjoyment much though.
Would definitely stay here again. Thank you Arjen.

Amazing Amsterdam Accomodation
by Chimene Tison

After many hours of research on the web, I found Arjen's apartment. We in South Africa are used to big, spacious homes and our currency is R13 = €1, so I was looking for something more spacious than your normal tiny hotelroom, but at an affordable, middle of the range rate.
We most definitely found it in this apartment. It was easily accesed from our arrival at Central station (we walked with our 18kg suitcases, about 15 min). The owner, Arjen was waiting. He explained everything regarding the apartment and then went on to give us a tour of the surrounding area, pointing out points of interrest - very helpful!
The apartment was very spacious, with little extra details like fresh flowers, coffee, tea, sugar and other sundries needed for self catering. All we needed to buy were eggs, bread, cheese and milk. It is very close to the tourist sights - many of them in walking distance - others further away, could easily be reached by tram, bus. An added bonus, was that it was in a quiet lane away from loud crowds and traffic.
We loved our stay and Arjen was always available by phone for help.
Thank you, for making our first visit to Amsterdam so awesome!!
