The island is small, quiet and safe. The neighbours and other boat-owners are friendly. During the day there are a lot of visitors, interested in the exceptional houses and (expensive) apartments. Some of them were built by famous architects. It's an  island with a lot of young occupants. There are excellent restaurants and across the street some nice café's.

From the boat it's less then 10 minutes by bus to Central Station. There is a ferry in the neighbourhood and a bus- and tramstop nearby. You can rent bikes nearby and then it takes also around ten minutes to Central Station. Carparking is possible in the street (paid parking zone).
