Good house boat experience in Amsterdam
by Mike Victor

My wife and I spent four nights at the house-boat. It has all the necessities to enjoy an authentic Amsterdam stay.
While there are no doubt more well appointed and expensive house-boats to be rented this boat was really great for location and my dream to someday live on one.
We sat at the kitchen table and watched the tour boats go by and experience the canal at a whole different level.
There was a working kitchen and we shopped and ate in as the local grocery, wine shop and take out kitchens (which are all excellent) and money machine all around the corner; why who could ask for anything more in Amsterdam. It's all within walking distance from this house-boat. There were areas which required my cleaning attention if you care about those things but again it was the real experience I desired.
Thumbs up.

Four nights on the Blue Houseboat
by Ross Gilbert

Four adults plus a baby had a fantastic time on the blue houseboat. It is in a central convenient location easy walk to many of the main attractions of a fascinating city. A short stroll to Anne Frank's house.
We enjoyed waving at the pleasure boats passing by and a tour of the city by canal is highly recommended. The night life is lively and there are many places to eat at easy walking distance, plus a supermarket and we found a lovely market with lots of fresh produce.
The accommodation is comfortable and well planned there is a small balcony to sit on and watch the world sail by. We also cooked on board and the small kitchen area provided us with all we needed.
Guy the owner was very helpful and stopped us from getting soaked in the rain when we arrived. The houseboat was clean and well maintained and the experience of staying in a houseboat certainly made our visit to Amsterdam special and memorable for all the right reasons!

Perfect!
by Ed & Jen McNamee

“The Houseboat was perfect for us! There isn’t a better
corner in all of Amsterdam than Runstraat and Prinsengracht
for cuteness and convenience! The market, the cheese shop, and
the bread shop, are all just steps away (and the kitchen is brand new!), so we easily prepared our meals and lived as the locals do!
Everything about this boat is sweet, clean, and comfortable,
with all new amenities - and a great shower! We will definitely be back.”
