House-Boat B077 ****

This romantic and charming houseboat is moored in the very center, near the Jordaan, at the crossing of two of the prettiest canals in Amsterdam, the Brouwersgracht and the Herengracht. The boat is modern and artistically decorated. You will enjoy the lively scenery on the water, sipping a drink and meanwhile maybe feeding the ducks.

The view from the balcony and living room is fantastic, the environment with beautiful old merchant houses impressive. Many of them were build in Amsterdam's Golden Age: the 17th century. In the area you find lots of restaurants, little shops, galleries and café's. Nearby are the 'Nine little Streets' and the Anne Frank House.

The boat is well equiped and comfortable, with a good quality queen sized bed. In the living room is also a couch which can be turned into a bed and in a cosy corner is a bed for a child as well. There is bathroom with tub and handshower. A washer and dryer, a flatscreen television, a dvd player and a fast internet connection are at your disposal. The kitchen has a cooker, oven, coffeemaker and microwave. A canal bike is freely available for you in spring and summer and is moored next to the houseboat! Reviews.

Wonderfull
by Mike&Judy

We are two aged pensioners who arrived very weary from Australia. What a welcome feel to step inside this well appointed houseboat. Very comfortable and warm with all the comforts of home. Added bonus was that it was a terrific location. It was always a delight to come back to after many hours of walking in this fascinating city. Thank you Carolien & Steven.

Very restful stay
by Sian Tindal

We spent four days on this boat and found it wonderfully restful. Our 8 year old especially loved the small bed, tucked away in a den. We loved the location, central but very quiet and pretty, and the closest restaurant turned out to be outstanding - what a treat! The tourist boats cruising by provided the boys with plenty of entertainment - one boy stood at the window smiling and waving until the tourists started taking photos, and the other boy hid behind a curtain, ready to take photos of them taking photos! Caroline had prepared the boat beautifully, and gave us lots of handy tips re places to visit, buy food etc. Thank you.

Great time
by Yuri Zampirolli

The houseboat is a marvellous surprise, very comfortable, spacious, with a view that is superb, and in the boat you can find anything you need, otherwise just go to local shops to buy your food and drinks.
The Hostess is very friendlily and eager to explain all that is necessary, from the boat to Amsterdam.
2012 has been the best New Year's eve we have experienced. The whole city was celebrating, cheering, and having a great night.
Great time always!! Thank you for every thing.
Yuri and Angela
