In the heart of Amsterdam
by Norbie

During my six month posting to Amsterdam I have stayed regularly on the B074 Houseboat right next to Rembrandt square and it was the most memorable part of my Dutch experience. The boat is right in the heart of Amsterdam, just a minute walk from Muntplein or Rembrandt Square. It's very spacey, fully equipped (oh those mean steaks I grilled there...) and its floor to ceiling sliding windows provide a magnificent view during sunset or sunrise. Many tourist boats will pass by the houseboat and tourists just love if you wave to them. And of course there are the swans and ducks who would accompany all my breakfasts peeping through the window.
Rick and Bea are fantastic hosts and are always very helpful. If you want to discover the city this is the perfect place to stay. * * * * *
