Great experience
by Patsy Schmidt

Coming from the US we were not sure what to expect but we were greeted with such kindness. The houseboat was wonderful. Everything we needed was there. Conviently located to everything. Highly recommend this experience.

The place is very well located in the center of Amsterdam. It is safe and rather quite, though you can ear some trafic and see some people on the near bridge, while sitting on the deck of the houseboat.
The place is clean and comfortable. The shower is perfect and the kitchen as well. Just to sum up: we loved the three days we had on the houseboat!

Memorial Day Visit
by Jay Knighton

My wife and I visited at the end of May-first of June. We had a wonderful visit staying on the houseboat! We cannot say enough good things about it.
For starters, you cannot beat the location. Rembrandtplein is just 1 block away. You have easy access to the old part of town, the Jordaan isn't really that far if you cut through the RLD, and the Museumplein is nearby. All are easy walks. Furthermore, for the location, it is very quiet. We were not bothered at all by any of the activities on Rembrandtplein. You really would not know such a hive of activity existed just around the corner if you did not know that area was, well, just around the corner. It is so quiet!
Second, the shower is very nice. I've stayed on several houseboats over the last few years, and this shower was the very best. That sort of thing matters to my wife.
Third, you have so much room and a beautiful view. Those huge sliding glass doors are wonderful for the couple like us that gets up, walks around, returns to the houseboat to lounge and read and listen to music, then goes back out. I knocked out an entire book just hanging on the couch and reading.
Fourth, the kitchen is great. Plus, you are a mere 3 blocks from a Marqt if you want to purchase stuff to cook or snack!
Fifth, the hosts are so nice and helpful. Beatrice met us when we arrived and gave us some great suggestions that only locals would really consider (like the hotel lounge by Centraal Station). She really helped make us welcome.
In all, I give this location an A++, with the extra plus for the great location and those amazing sliding glass doors. We will certainly bookmark this houseboat and revisit whenever possible.
