Daily Room AK76 ***

Daily room (min. stay 2 nights).

We are happy to welcome you in a cozy and comfortable daily-room, ideally located in the city centre of Amsterdam, right behind the Royal Palace and Dam square. The many extraordinary sites that Amsterdam has to offer only within walking distance and can all be discovered in the direct neighbourhood, like the beauty of the 17th century canal district, the rich cultural scene, great shops on the Nieuwendijk and the many streets from Dam square will lead you to every part of the city. The city offers some-
thing for everyone.

At approximately 15 minutes walking distance, the famous nine streets area, Leidsche square and Rembrandt square are located, which leads you to several typically Dutch shops, bars, restaurants and coffeebars. A walk behind Dam square and the store of Bijenkorf will lead you to the Red Light District, Amsterdam offers it all.

We are looking forward to welcome you. In spite of the limited space of 15m2 for the room, we are happy to let you know that the room is foreseen of modern facilities including High Speed internet, free Wi-Fi, a flat screen TV, coffeemaker, water cooker and minibar, private bathroom with shower, toilet and sink. The room is suitable for 1 or 2 adults and has a double bed.

To prevent high expectations we advice not to stay here when you have problems to climb narrow stairs, when you make your choice for this beautiful spot and don’t bring that big suitcases, because of the narrow staircase. We are very sorry, but smoking is not allowed.

i have had visits to amsterdam prior to this visit.where i had rooms with seperate toilets from the shower.although it was no surprise to find that the toilet and the shower was in the same room.despite that the room was cozy and clean.my host/owner hans was very accommodating and friendly despite my arriving 12 hours later than expected at 10 pm in the rain due to an air tower controller strike in lisbon.my room was in the center of everywhere i wanted to be.i especially found the indonesian deli across the street most desirable and i had dinner there most evenings of my stay.the area is quite noisy and is directly above one of the many infamous coffee shops.you can hear women pouncing their heels sounding like horses pulling along a carriage and there was the ocassional mopeds was a bit unbearable.one thing i like to say about the dutch, they know how to live!

Great Room!

Small, but lovely room with a fair price. Very steep stairs, but that is just Amsterdam, i guess. Free WLAN and TV. Additionaly a free bottle of wine as a greeting. I was very satisfied.
