The boat is indeed distinctive in its own status. Originally, it was built in 1931 as a freighter. Since 2010, the owner had transformed the freighter boat with all of his passion into a living floating with contemporary & modern facilities but still maintaining certain unique & original details.
With its vast mid hull serves as the social & living quarter, Boat B070 is not just a unique but also an ideal boat to accommodate a large group or an extended family, where everyone can be together & share their stay under 1 roof. It offers guests a great combination of an airy & bright dining hall with an extended table and a bar featuring a wine cooler, here 2 bottles of wine will be presented upon guests arrival as a welcome compliment, a cozy lounge with wooded fireplace and a professional stainless steel kitchen. The hall is also equipped with a large flat screen LCD-TV set with cable TV offering an ample collection of channels from Dutch to multi European & international programs. Fast internet connection is available. You find a second tv in the Captain's lounge.
This boat will make your stay pleasant & restful by providing 5 comfortable & boutique look & feel bedrooms (in the living room is also a couch wich can be turned into an extra double bed). There are 2 designed & roomy showers that lit-up brightly by natural skylight. Not to mention, there’s a small sauna to pamper you after an exhausted day from exploring the city of Amsterdam. The boat is mooring at once was Amsterdam’s old dockland now has become the newest, modern & most trendy part of Amsterdam. Beside marveling the refreshing, contemporary & funky architectures, here guests can find a vast range of facilities & services such as hip cafes, charming restaurants, boutique shops, ATM machines, supermarket, bike rental, fitness center & etc. With a short distance, guests can visit Amsterdam’s cultural institutions & attractions such as the National Maritime Museum Amsterdam, Science Centre NEMO, Amsterdam Conservatorium, Music Hall–Bimhuis Jazz, Amsterdam Architecture Centre, Amsterdam Zoo Artis, Amsterdam Music Theater & Opera House, the open-air Waterloo market & etc. If you prefer to skip a short ride on a tram to Central station & the city center then by taking a short & pleasant walk along the waterfront can be a very enchanting exercise.
