Great accommodation in the heart of Amsterdam
by Charles

We were a group of 8 people having to spend a week in Amsterdam. The houseboat is really comfy and the owners are very nice and welcoming. We will certainly rent again next year!

Great stay on B085
by Olivier

We were eight guys staying on the boat for 4 nights. Overall, it was a very fun stay and the experience was great.
I'm listing a few comments hereafter:
Accomodation:
Although the boat is big, the rooms and beds are small for nine guys.
Water:
When we arrived, no hot water was available so we had to call the owner to fix it. We only had hot water the second day and it was sometimes really hot! You'd better make sure with the owner that water is ready before you arrive.
Decoration:
Good effort on the decoration and style.
Owner:
Very friendly and helpful. Reachable late at night.
Location:
The boat is located in a very calm residential area. Not much action out there so you need a cab to go downtown.
When you arrive in Amsterdam, I recommend to take a cab to reach the boat. It's a 30min walk from the train station.
Possible improvements:
- We would have loved to see a table/chairs on the deck like other boats have, but the architecture of the boat probably doesn't allow it.
- an Ipod dock should be available
