The apartment is on canal level (so no stairs to walk) and has been renovated completely in 2006. Throughout the apartment all kinds of historical cultural elements have been brought into view so you truly dwell into the history of this old house which was build in 1715. The beams and the walls tell their story and the apartment even features an authentic escape hatch that has saved the lives of 3 Jewish people during the Second World War. 

The apartment is over 40 square meters, fully furnished and self contained. It has a double bed, living room, dining table, a fully equipped kitchen. Flat screen cable TV with DVD, stereo and a washing machine are provided. Great Apartment!

The apartment is in a great location..had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again..There was two of us, the apartment was perfect!.Highly recommended .

Stay at the CanalApartment

We recently stayed at this lovely studio apartment,on the Prinsensgract Canal. The apartment was lovely and cozy adn the owner had very thoughfully left some welcoming drinks for us. Location is perfect, just off the Utrectstasse with its lively bars and hip boutiques, but the apartment itself was nice and quiet int eh evenings. My only quibble with the apartment was the leaking shower and the fact that only two towels were provided, which really isn't sufficient for a few days stay. Would definitely recommend it to a friend though.

The house was super confortable and very very nice.
In the night is better because the lights are charming and during the day is bit dark... if u walk and visit the city it's perfect.
The bathtube is a dream when after a long day walk, you're tired and wanna take a rest.
the position is amazing, in the middle of everything just 5 minutes walk to rembrant square.
i'll come back for sure. thank u very much
