This large barge is located nearby the "Quartier Latin", or "de Pijp" in Dutch. In this area are a lot of trendy restaurants, café's and shops and it is a busy part of  town. It is a multicultural neighbourhood, close to the city centre and very much in demand by students, merchants and young families. You find here also the Albert Cuypmarket, the longest market in Holland for food and clothes. The boat lies nearby House-Boat B024 (4 persons) and the RAI.

Here we offer a studio with private bathroom and the use of a sundeck outside with table and chairs. It's meant for up to 4 (famillies with children are welcome, the studio is childproof!). The room (55m2) is fully furnished and has a private entrance. It has cable-television and radio and there is a microwave/oven combination, refrigerator, coffeemachine and toaster at your disposal. For use of internet or look into your web-mail there is a computer available, there is a fast wireless and cable internet-connection. The studio has a professional climate control (cooling, heating and air purification-management), but there is also a woodstove for a cosy atmosphere in wintertime!  You have a nice view from the deck over the Amstel River. By bike or public transport it takes 10 minutes to the middle of the centre. Reviews.

Aufenthalt im Mai 2013

wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in Amsterdam und können das Boot von Martin wärmstens weiterempfehlen. Vor allem die Kinder fanden diese Art von Stadtbesichtigung toll. Der Weg in die Stadt war selbst zu Fuß, ca. 25 Minuten, so interessant, dass wir nur Am Anfang die Straßenbahn genommen haben. Gerne wieder! Grüße aus Nürnberg

Un excellent séjour avril 2013

Etant deux amies, nous avons passé 4 nuits à bord de cette péniche. Très bon accueil par Martin avec beaucoup d'infos pratiques et touristiques. La péniche est très fonctionnelle et très propre. Petits détails agréables :
lits faits à l'arrivée, café, thé, sucre, filtres fournis, une chaleur agréable dans toute la péniche malgré le froid dehors. Petit bémol : nous aurions apprécié un grille-pain.
Le tram n° 4 à proximité nous conduit très rapidement vers tous les lieux touristiques.
En résumé, nous recommandons vivement cet hébergement.

Péniche bien située au bord de l'Amstel,idéale pour une famille avec 2 enfants. Accueil très sympathique par le propriétaire. Intérieur agréablement "cosy" en bois vernis, très lumineux; le nécessaire pour cuisiner est cependant un peu sommaire et gagnerait à être amélioré. Un parapluie mis à disposition des locataires ainsi que quelques vélos serait une bonne idée également.
La ville est vraiment très jolie et ses occupants charmants : nous reviendrons.
