This 'flagship' contains two guestrooms, room BK53 on this page and room BK52 under the newly constructed forecastle.  A dream location for couples travelling together.

The originally sailing Dutch barge, type Hagenaar, was later converted to a motor ship and is now moored on the River Amstel,  functioning as a houseboat only. (Its engine was taken out in 2006 and added to the collection of an engine museum). Aboard are, at its both ends, two neatly done guestrooms.

This room is at the backside. It includes the use of the wheelhouse, from which you have a magnificant view over "de Magere Brug" (the Skinny Bridge). Besides that, you'll have available a small sitting/bedroom, a bathroom with shower and toilet, and a small terrace on the deck. Not to forget the double bed in the stern. Also there is a kitchenette provided with water cooker and coffee machine , microwave and fridge to prepare breakfast or a cup of soup! With the help of the double hotplate you can even cook a meal if you want. You will have your own entrance directly into the cabin.

The houseboat is located in the middle of the centre (see location), café's and restaurants are  close by. The Utrechtsestraat  is a few hundred metres away and the Rembrandtplein is at less than a 5 minute walk from the boat. You will find yourself surrounded by the canals and old canalhouses and it is a pleasure to see people passing by in all kinds of boats. Smoking is only allowed on deck. There is a radio/cd player, television and wireless internet connection in the room and a hair dryer in the bathroom. Please read here some reviews.
