Boat BK18, Guestroom ***

This House-Boat is probably the most photographed boat in Amster-
dam, pictures of this boat were placed in magazines over the world, from Japan to Denmark. She is moored in the middle of the "Jordaan", the most pitoresque neighbourhood in our city. In the surroundings of the boat are numerous little shops, secondhand clothing stores, café's , restaurants, the Anna Frank House and markets. From here it's less then a 10 minute walk to the Damsquare.

Your hostess is very artistique with a wonderful taste. All small details in the room were made by herself.  The entrance is a hatch with steep stair. Down stairs you find a bedroom and a kitchennette with microwave, fridge and coffee- and tea making facilities. There is also a private bathroom with shower and toilet. It's really nice to sit on the deck, you have a great view over the Prinsengracht and the Westertoren. It will give you proberly the feeling if you are a local when you see all the tourists passing by in canalboats. They will be jalous when they see you sitting on a cosy couch with a glass of wine in your hand! Jackie is well known in the theatre world, decorated a large number of musical, films etc. Click here for reviews and  Jackie in the New York Times.

Boat-Holidays on Boat BK18
by Renate Jänsch

We spent 4 days in the guestroom of this boat and enjoyed every minute! Lucky with the weather we were able to spend a lot of time on top of the boat and watch a lot of different water-vehicles passing by. The guestroom was not big, but very cosy. The furniture was really unique and we felt homey immediately. Everything was very clean and well organized of the owner. We really recommend this location!

Amsterdam Canal Boat
by Glen Hodgkinson

The canal boat was amazing! It is a very cute cabin with everything you need to stay in the heart of Amsterdam. We loved having dinner on the roof top with all the canal boats passing and taking our pictures. Jacky was wonderful and wanted to make sure we had everything we needed along with a little chocolate. We loved this place and would absolutely stay there again if we were in Amsterdam. Don't miss out on this one!

Great location
by Glen Hodgkinson

The boat was very cute, well organized and lots of maps , books and a cute kitchen and we sat up on the roof in the evening..delightful! Would not be suitable for more than 2 guests at a time and not for those with limited mobility but we loved it
