This amazing two bedroom apartment is situated on the first floor of an over 100 years old house, built for the master of the horses from the Heineken Brouwerij (Brewery) on the opposit of this building. He played a very important and prominent role in the 18 century. The horses pulled the wagons through the city with beer and stood on the ground floor in a beautiful vaulted place in the building. In 1988 the house has been split into 3 apartments.

The apartment has a hall, toilet, a master bedroom with kingsize bed and a second bedroom with 2 single beds (90 cm wide). This bedroom has a summer kitchen. Both bedrooms are adjacent to the large and beautiful terrace. The masterbedroom has a large flatscreen television.There is a bathroom with tub and separated shower. The kitchen is situated in the middle of the apartment and has diswasher and microwave. The large living room has a gaz open fireplace.

The terrace is calm an quiet, considering that the house in the middle of one of the busiest neighborhoods is. You are surrounded by trees and birds. It's located in the heart of the Pijp (le Quatier Latin d'Amsterdam) with lots of restaurants and café's for locals only a few steps away! The largest market of the Netherlands, de Albert Cuijp, is a 5 minute walk, but also the Rijksmuseum, the Leidseplein, the Concert Hall, the Van Gogh Museum and the Vondelpark are on walking distance. Walking to the Dam square takes around 15 minutes. There is a large supermarket close by.
