This beautiful and large apartment is very suitable for two couples or a family, it exist in fact of two apartments. It's a light apartment and the furniture is modern, stylish and artistic (the owner is a painter). The apartment on the ground floor as well as the apartment on the first floor have both a living room, a comfortable bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. One bathroom has a shower, the other a shower and separated tub. There are two toilets. In one of the living rooms is also a couch wich can be turned into a bed and there is a babycot available. A small garden and two balconies, one with a view over the gardens, give you the possibility to catch sunshine all day long. Wifi ADSL internet connection (free of charge), radio, three televisions and a hairdryer are at your disposal. Smoking is allowed.

From this apartment it is only a 5 minute walk to the Leidseplein (Leidse square) and the Vondelpark. On the Leidse square are lots of café's, restaurants and discotheques.Shopping streets (normal and luxury, like the famous PC Hooftstraat), and musea are on walking distance. Over the expectations

Let's start with the negative:
- Very small toilets (for normal sized persons, and persons without handicap, this is no problem).
- If you stay 5 persons, the extra bed is a futon which isn't very comfortable. We couldn't decide who should sleep in it, so we took turns.
- NO oven! .. don't buy frozen pizzas.. we made the mistake to buy around 8 pizzas to put in the oven, because we thought that "of course there will be an oven.. there's 2 kitchens!"
Then the positive:
- Huge apartment
- It's clean
- The person who welcommed us - Katelijne - was very friendly and patient. We screwed up a bit, so we saw her a couple of times during the stay. But besides that we were left alone (We were 7 hours late because of a carbreakdown+there was some payment issues - Both things our fault)
- No noise
- Comfortable beds (Except the futon)
- Very interesting, and weird decorations (made by the owner)
- 2 baths, where one of them is very nice.
- 5-10 mins. walk to Leidensplein (to those who haven't been in amsterdam, Leidensplein has everything to offer. Nice restaurants, bars, coffeeshops, shops, bakers, etc)
- 1 min. walk to a big Lidl store. (It's a bit hidden though.)
All in all.. A very nice place to stay, which is why i give it my highest recommendations.

Nice apartment in a very convenient area of town. It is easily accessible to all modes of transportation.
The apartment is clean and comfortable. The kitchens (up and down) are good size with all amenities. The bathrooms are also fine and clean.
BUT, the toilets are extremely tight and very tough to use!! And I am not big or chunky- pretty slim.
AND it would have been nice to have had a second set of towels for our 8-day stay.
The noise level is very mild and non-existent. Although a couple of nights the neighbors were a little noisy after 11:00 PM.
The hosts are very nice and they just leave you alone.
Overall, a very good experience.
